adulting has really pushed us to discover new stuff for our home to get it more functional than it is now. there are so many new tech and even small machines discovered to make our home do or look a lot better.
That concrete block fire pit is absolutely hilarious and no one should try it at home. Regular concrete blocks like that one shown can just crack or even explode when exposed to high heat. Actual fire pit block is rated for high heat and the metal ring is to protect it from looking nasty from the soot created while actually burning.
Putting in a hole sucks too. Should be up high enough to support that marshmallow stick. My neighbor just built one with a steel ring and landscape stone. He made a vent and filled about a 6” gap between the ring and landscape stone with with crushed stone.
Thank you for your comment! I totally agree with you. This channel always brings positivity and inspiration. By the way, have you ever heard of the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series? It's an amazing power backup solution, perfect for outdoor adventures and ensuring uninterrupted family time. Trust me, it's a game-changer for outdoor enthusiasts like us. Check it out!
The fire pit is often poorly done by people who don't grasp that a fire pit NEEDS to be made of FIREBRICK or similar ceramics. Most concrete blocks, such as that shown, can contain pockets of high moisture, which, when heated substantially can rupture in a very very explosive manner, throwing concrete shards all over the place. As one can imagine, this can be very very dangerous, and thus care should be taken to be sure that the masonry you choose is rated for use as a fire pit. This is something only a small number of people grasp without being told. I presume the danger is clear, once you consider it.
@5:39 so we just bury that drain pipe and build the fire right on top and don't have to worry about the pipe melting? high-density polyethylene's melting point is 135°C (275°F)
0:50 - You can... blah blah blah... no mention AT ALL on the arduino and programming necessary to make the strips do any of that. And they have to be the right kind of strips, too. Most are usually on or off with no circuitry to handle control of individual chips.
Most of these houshold hacks have major issues, the ceiling is a fire hazard that can easily kill you before you can exit the room. The elevator is gonna destroy that house, or maybe not the elevator itself but the added weight in the attic dragging the house down faster than ever.
Unfortunately although the LED's have a 50k hour life the ac adapters have a very short life. I've gone thru several sets on my display cases and it's always the adapters croaking.
Nice to see some good ideas for DIY Enthusiasts , Thanks.!. **By the way/in the mean time:** A little Correction to the Title .!. " On Your Own" (not "with your own".).!.
So, how many people that have the LED cloud ceiling have kept it up through all the allergies and the spiders hanging in your face while watching something on your TV?
By using old tires always think about the gum softener that ist used in production. It's partly causing cancer, genetic defectives and infertilitiy, especially to boys. So never use it indoor and always far away from kids and from your food. Dogs or cats usually don't live long enough to catch serious damage from it.
The Lincoln Park guitar, the autographs, due to using the Sharpie pen, will FADE away with using that UV light. Pretty soon you won't have those autographs. Take it from an autograph collector and former autograph gallery owner. UV light of any kind will fade Sharpie pen signed autographs. Only use the light when necessary.
No offense intended, but whoever is writing for this channel needs to go back to school. An "engine" is a petroleum fired, combustion machine...a "motor" is an electrical device. Tires are not recycled into "concrete" (which is crushed and powdered stone), they are mixed into "asphalt" which is a tar and rubber based black to gray substance.
Why is there a notice at 1:54 saying "do not try at home" if this is a HOME garage elevator?

That first example with the "cloudy" ceiling is the BIGGEST dust trap ever. And good luck trying to vacuum it without destroying the fluff.
Make sure whatever you make is not toxic or flammable! It's umportant to manage building hazards & risks...
Very nice!
Awesome video. As always.
Forever addicted to this channel
That tire table would be a good idea for a club
Nice room for cloud look. Just don't let your Fire insurance company know.
I love how this channel always cheers me up no matter what. Kudos!

0:49 dust dust dust everywhere
When I see such ingenius carpenters and blacksmiths at work I wish I'd never ended up in IT and went that way instead.
Why not do a career change?
They forgot to show the Canadian house made of bottles when they talked about it during the Canadian deck building segment.
Hey TechZone. 😎👍💯
Clouds pretty, is it a fire hazard lol 😂
And the blue barrels with all the pipes as thumbnail of video?
Yup. I found the whole thing a waste of time.

Great vid, keep it up guys!
hey its these guys
That cloud ceiling is a terrible fire hazard...

Polyester batting is flammable dangerously so the cloud roof is far to dangerous

elevator man is giving @ColinFurze a run for his money! great video as always

it's not an engine at 1:29. That's an electric motor. There's a difference.
Of course you realize that poly propylene is highly flammable?
Are u comparing the flamability of wood to poly propylene?
@@Ra-bi1vothe difference being is that a spark won't make wood go up like a ball of cotton wool where as poly propylene would.🏡🤦♂️🙄
@@Ra-bi1voimagine comparing wood to poly propylene.
hey at least you know how to spell polypropylene correctly. It's wrong in the video at 0:21
Besides the fact that that ceiling just screams abject poverty. It's always gonna look like you made it yourself. While drunk.
This channel is what keep me going every day
Shoutout to Yuma homies!
7:46 are you drunk? Which recycled bottles you talking about= Is this a visual audio compilation from scenes that do not belong together?=
So, how many people that have the LED cloud ceiling have kept it up through all the allergies and the spiders hanging in your face while watching something on your TV?
Good I like ❤ !
Tire table.. 🤔 How could you get rid of their smell?
Was that a dagger under that floating bed?

Im actually an elevator tech and I do believe that many laws were broken with the lift you just showed of someone riding that.
Maybe not in other countries... but specifically America that's not legal.
ANYTHING made from used tires immediately screams abject poverty.
What a fire hazard.polypro and electricity
Check your local laws before installing a rain barrel. Some have rules against it
only a crooked government would have laws against that.
"Home improvements that you can make with your own hands" 2 mins later "Do not try this at home"
How do you dust

surprised tire table did not have spray cheese appetizer
where is the thumbnail item???
was jazza narrating this?
Is that ceiling supposed to be a joke? 😂😂
alot of these ideas are unsafe without expert review of materials used and may be illegal where you live
You just have to admire some Peoples thoughts
the last one was using an Iron saw to saw wood .... an the other "innovations" already existed for decades ....
Cloud ceiling shown can catch fire easily. Please avoid
Very Good!... #81 ✝ {2-21-2024)
And where is the system from the cover picture!? 👎
hmmm how can I waste money and lower the value of my property?
Using a hacksaw to cut wood 🤦♂️
Love your videos BUT this time:
10:38 Another (micro-)plastic crap. 🤬
👍🌺
Where the hell is the three barrels in the FRAKKING thumbnail??????? 🤦🤬🤬😡😡 The whole reason for me to watch the video was to see them.
No one uses cedar trees as 🎄 in USA. U are misinformed
Artificial turf is just tragic 🥲😒
some cool stuff there but that SYNTHETIC TURF is awful stuff in so many ways, and it should be BANNED
Tarea 23

WTF? 😡I wanted to see the three barrel water system advertised to get me to watch the video. I give a thumbs down for deception.👎
Moche et inutile ! C'est bien américain tout cela.
Wasting time
I was thorougly annoyed that I watched the Russian versions of these videos without being able to find the English versions.😅
