I’m just learning wire wrapping, I’m retired and spend large part of my day watching your videos. Seems like great hobby. I bought some wire from my local craft store. The only stones they had are acrylic and do not look nice. Is Etsy trustworthy. Thank you for your tutorials.
Thanks for watching my channel, Nancy! I sell on Etsy as well as shop on Etsy for some items... I collect my stones in person either from a Mineral and gem show coming through or near me, else I try to find a local rock or crystal shop. You might try looking locally to see if anyone sells minerals and crystals. Otherwise, if shopping in Etsy, I'd say like anything, make sure you are checking reviews and seeing that the business has been there a while with tons of good reviews... same if you're shopping via Instagram or FB... shopping online is a "do the due diligence" thing to make sure you are shopping with a reputable seller. There are many, many in Etsy that are trustworthy, but like anywhere, I'd stick with reading reviews and checking how long the store has been in business. You can always spot the reputable sellers via their reviews and duration of time as well as population of buyers. I hope that helps.

lovely! I love to work with 18 G wire. It is trick, but it helps in fixing a design. For framing, 18 G square is great. Love always! ❤
Me too, Rachel, I think 18g is probably my most used and 'go to' gauge of wire, be them square or round. Many thanks!! Much love back!
