War was a tribute to Bathory, intended as such, it isn't a carbon copy, similar but not identical. Surely a song is also unique because of it's lyrics not only it's tune? This also sounds like Venom Welcome To Hell in parts..
If it was a tribute where is the Quorthon credit? If Varg Vikernes' talent was even at least 1/1000th size of his ego, burzum might have been a good band.
