Welcome to your (botched) Hearing Test appointment! Today Dr Karuna Satori is going to be testing your hearing. First with a short check of the ears, followed by looking into your eyes to find your pupils are dilating naturally. Then I’ll be testing your hearing using different objects and also my hands, and finally with headphones on to ensure a more difficult test. So please ~ get relaxed while Dr Karuna Satori prepares you for a nice, relaxing appointment. If nobody has told you that they loved you today, know that I love you. I normally don't comment but today has been a rough day. I called my grandmother today just to check in on her because shes really old and had a stroke last year where she broke her hip and has steadily gotten worse in shape. When I called her she had no idea who I was and only could remember my father and then my mother but not me. This group is like a family and I often see people call Karuna mom and she has helped me through so much and right I just don't know what to do. I have school in another state and I am a mentor to freshmen so I can't just drop everything to go see her but I want her to see me at least once while some of her memory is still intact. I know this is a lot but I just needed to unload it.
I may be the only person seeing this, but we are all here with open hearts and ears for anymore venting you need to do! ❤️

That’s so much to deal with, I’m really sorry to hear that. Seeing a loved one go through that age, with all that comes along with, is so incredibly emotionally draining that you can’t feel bad about wanting to leave everything just to see her- I would too. Despite your job position, or obligations it’s okay to put family first (if you have the financial means, of course! I never want to assume anything!)
If it’s okay with you, I’m going to pray for you tonight. I know everyone believes different things or feels differently about that, but for me I love the lord and if it’s okay with you, I would like to pray you receive strength during this time, and the means to see her sooner rather than later. I think if you have an Apple product go to settings, accessibility, then audio and visual and finally pick mono audio. That worked for me, it’s not exactly the same experience but I like it a lot better than broken sound
Lydia L. That's true for all phones, not just apple. But I'd much rather have different volumes in each ear over having sound in only one ear
SapphireDoodle monoaudio just means that the same noise comes out of both as opposed to stereo. what you want to do is adjust the volume balance to even out the level in each.
I have that issue too so I have to keep buying new headphones 😔
my left headphone just really won’t work, i can hear the noise it plays when it’s saying “pairing” or “connected” but when i play a video it just doesn’t have anything happen

I first started to notice in one of her videos from 3 months ago. The intro/outro repeating video. Ever since, I have noticed in her videos that she has stretching her ears and I certainly stan
I started stretching in July, but my ears were once again 9/16. I decided to go to 22mm, right now I’m 18mm, and in this video from yesterday I was at 16mm
