Remember they played Chyper pt 3 at their Busan concert in front of the goverment members. In the past Bts got a lot of hate because of the mandatory military discussion. For years the goverment couldn't decide if Bts would have to serve or would be exemted. Even tough bts always said they would serve, if they were convened they received a lot of critic from the press and politicians. A few days after the concert bts anounced they wouldn't postpoun the matter any longer and serve in the military. It was hilarious and such a power move. Like can you imagine them singing "but I don't care. You can't controll my shit." and ending the political discussion on their own terms.

Supreme Boi is a long time friend who was actually a trainee with them but he quit before their debut . I absolutely love when Yoongi starts to spit .. This man .... I think he actually clocked it at 117 syllables, one of the greatest raps.. Rap Line is so freakin Savage.. RM poetically rhythmically disses you and asks if you understand why.. Love Beethoven's symphonies. But I was scared of rap. So I skipped those. One day pretty soon I got my courage to watch the Cyphers. I knew and loved the guys already, but my jaw dropped. Were they the same people? I found the subtitles. Then I was suddenly in love with it. Completely. I watch these a lot. Don't think me weird, but they relax me and I can doze off (forget that New Age stuff!). BTS rap has changed my life. My friends are astounded when they hear about it. Rap??!! Yes!!! I'll only watch BTS, most music doesn't interest me anymore.
And there are people brush BTS off saying they are just for screaming teen girls. What do they know about BTS to trash mouthing about them? This is BTS they don't know and this is just one part of many.
It's preconceived notion right? They get told somewhere down the line "what they are" and they just run with it. It's up to us to show em what it is! Let's get more people in the know!

Something I love about BTS rap line is that not only are they great rappers but lyrically they are great. Like compared to many great US legendary rappers known for their skills I don't get disappointed when listening to the lyrics. Sadly so many great rappers in the US (and other countries) have such shitty lyrics, like "money, sex, misogyny, violence, guns, "status", clothes, cars, "respect" (which is what?? Having people afraid of you or poorer than you or afraid of you because of your fame? How is that respect? That is the opposite of respect. If people like you, care and see you as a friend or role model without threats or other things hovering over them, that is respect. Having someone forced to kneel is not respect.), taking drugs, toxic masculinity and even glamorizing a gang life, violence and drugs etc etc.

I have been a BTS fan for 4 months. Years ago, a friend had told me that Kpop was great and I saw a couple of things that I liked but I didn't fall in love with it, I must say that I lean towards rock and metal so I didn't get hooked on what I had heard. Everything changed when I saw RUN BTS's dance practice and saw Jimin dance, Suga rap and the sound of the guitar. There I fell in love and then I met the others, I learned about their history (I love stories of fighting the system), and then… their solo projects, I heard August D, jhope, and of course CYPHER… they blow my mind. Now I can say that I still don’t quite like Kpop but I´m IN LOVE of BTS and I'm practically obsessed with them because they come to stay on the top of my Spotyfy list. I love each one of its members, I think they are excellent artists, beautiful human beings and I admire what they have contributed to humanity and music in this pre- post pandemic word. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
And the fact that they rap these in concerts too, says so much about not just their talent but also their artistry. The moment you hear their verses in cypher series, you'd be amazed how these would be part of your own playlists too without you even realizing it. I know, because I have 'em as part of my playlist too.
I was fortunate to be able to go to day 2 of the Agust D/Suga concert in Los Angeles this past May. Suga did Cypher pt. 3 and part 4, Ugh, Ddaeng, and Huh. It was absolute Fire! It’s the best concert I’ve ever been to.

I like like u listened to it all the way thru then disected it a second time. My fave cypher is 2 bc it’s savage and I like that it’s directed at specific people versus the others which was more towards hateful other rappers in general and industry jerks. Jhope wasn’t at that ambush interview so he was more hype man here and that’s why RM and Suga went especially hard

There I fell in love and then I met the others, I learned about their history (I love stories of fighting the system), and then… their solo projects, I heard August D, jhope, and of course CYPHER… they blow my mind. Now I can say that I still don’t quite like Kpop but I´m IN LOVE of BTS and I'm practically obsessed with them because they come to stay on the top of my Spotyfy list. I love each one of its members, I think they are excellent artists, beautiful human beings and I admire what they have contributed to humanity and music in this pre- post pandemic word. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
And the fact that they rap these in concerts too, says so much about not just their talent but also their artistry. The moment you hear their verses in cypher series, you'd be amazed how these would be part of your own playlists too without you even realizing it. I know, because I have 'em as part of my playlist too.

I was fortunate to be able to go to day 2 of the Agust D/Suga concert in Los Angeles this past May. Suga did Cypher pt. 3 and part 4, Ugh, Ddaeng, and Huh. It was absolute Fire! It’s the best concert I’ve ever been to.

My favorite is Cypher 4 because you can clearly recognize the "sound of Ruyichi Sakamoto" (of which Suga is a fan)... and I knew Sakamoto's music when I was a teenager!

I like like u listened to it all the way thru then disected it a second time. My fave cypher is 2 bc it’s savage and I like that it’s directed at specific people versus the others which was more towards hateful other rappers in general and industry jerks. Jhope wasn’t at that ambush interview so he was more hype man here and that’s why RM and Suga went especially hard
I feel it's a great way to get a feel for the song. I mean it makes for a longer video but that's why I fo timestamps haha helps people! This is a wild journey and I love how I'm building my own style! So much fun 💜💜💜
