Personally, I've never liked Noir Arts. I excitedly picked up a copy of Vittoria a few years ago in my earlier collecting days thinking I'd be getting something of similar quality to USPCC (before the myriad QA issues). The stock, the inks, the foil application, the handling were so subpar... I felt as though I'd picked up a t11 deck: phenomenal tuck and disappointing cards. I don't see it with Eleazar, but the Lazarus edition shows some real improvement! That being said, Nicolai is a TREMENDOUS artist and I wish he would print with Cartamundi or WJPC. Same goes for Marianne and anyone else at Isolated Thunderstorm.
I have an old deck, bridge sized cards in a match box style slide box & the cards have guided edges. The card backs are a picture of the house of seven gables. Found the deck at a thrift store. Think they are from the 50's or 60's. Gotta do some more research. A nice addition to my collection none the less. Makes me want to get this deck, it's super nice & bizzar to say the least 👍👍

You don’t get a Nicolai (or Marianne) deck for its handling. But the art is top notch!
