elvis seems such a cool dad and cool dude overall i cant wait to build mine man
I'm loving the idea that the younger generations are getting back into original style choppers and culture, it was said necessity is the mother of all invention, this can be directly applied to the home chopper builder where parts and money are restraints for the new but not the old.
I want a suicide shifter and a kick start on my bike. That way only other real men could ride my bike, and real men don't steal bikes.
man Elvis made it all work huh. much respect to "El Vez" for staying true to himself and doing the work. such a cool dude and lookin forward to rollin out on the next ride!!! its all love homie.
I like the color Elvis chose and that he kept it frugal on the build.
Great vid, thank you for sharing. Nice to hear from Elvis, his background and the culture of riding, building bikes and his family. Love all your content.
Thank you for your time as well! We’ll try to do more of these with some of our other friends as well!
Lol shoutout the homie Neil! I bought his Shadow like 3 weeks ago🙏🏼
The shadow is a great bike. I had one all bobber style and racing it around there fun! Wish I still had it
Man!!,,awesome vid Elvis's bike is looking dope as hell,,, both of his Shadows,,, Dean's Shovelhead is looking sick as well,,,love the vibe checks !!❤❤👍👍🥃🥃
Just got to the movie question. Elvis would make a dope recast of Benny from the sandlot. He already got the vibes with that mariners cap.
Solid, Braddas!
Salute

Love seeing shadow content. Between this, heartbreak Moto, cassa customs and LNSPLT, TH-cam is ripe with shadow vids. So helpful for making my own build. Budget build forever 💪
Love the vlx600 as a custom platform.
Excellent video, excellent bike. Well done Elvis! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

I swear I saw this on marketplace not that long ago.. who has this bike lol
It’s his listing lol he still has the bike
Easy rider was garbage. Lol
I’ve heard some bad shit about those slugs in the front end a lil too sketch for me lol but more power to him!
They fine as long as the joint stays between the tree clamps and you don’t go like longer than like 6 inches
Aww man not this again 😂
PSA to anyone who has negative feelings about fork slugs: All the negative things you’ll ever hear about or read on dated forum entries sent in by people who lived through the 70’s will all scare you off.
But back then people would use hollow pipe or solid stock that was the diameter of the threaded portion (smaller diameter than the forks) which left a gap in the triple trees. People would over-tighten the top clamps of the trees to try to clamp the “slugs”. Doing this would of course weaken the clamps and either the makeshift slugs or the triple tree clamps would eventually break.
Fast forward to today, slugs that are in production are all machined out of solid stock with actual structural integrity. Nothing like what was being backyard boogied back in the 70’s. Take Bones for example (video link here: th-cam.com/video/WXgE3I2J0GA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FqICXrqAMyBA6xzR ) Over 700,000 miles state to state running slugs.
In short: don’t let old stories from the 60’s and dated forum entries scare you away from today’s structurally solid machined parts that are sold/distributed worldwide by reputable companies and manufacturers.
