Otis Came to the Homestead! Starting Sourdough from Whispering Willow Farm 03 2022

I finally did it! I have started Sourdough!! Thanks to the inspiraton of Jill from Whispering Willow Farm, Stacy from Off Grid with Doug & Stacy, and Jess at Roots & Refuge, I am on my way of the Sourdough journey and loving it!!! Come along as I start it and the process of baking my first loaf!
Finally Home in Bama is a small one acre Homestead in a small city in Northern Alabama. A small backyard Nursery is one of the Resorces we are developing to further our dream of becoming self-reliant in our Homesteading endeavors. Our goal in the near future is to provide plants & cut flower arangements for our local Farmer's Markets. Growing increasingly more of our own food as possible is our goal. We have done canning of our food for many years. We plan to incorporate many other methods of preserving as the years go by such as: fermenting, dehydrating & root cellar Storage.
