Ok maybe it's considered "Bullet Resistant", but "Bulletproof" sounded better. At 1" Thick i am sure it can stop a lot of different bullets. This material just reminds me of being at the bank. Speaking of BANK, this is expensive! Any time you get quoted for a custom box like this and you think the price is too high, remember, the material is expensive but most of the cost is in the gamble. Just look at this stuff wrong and it is ruined! Don't let anyone lie to you. These type of boxes are a pain in the a**! there is NO second chances and the sheets are almost $700 each. 1" Acrylic is no joke, that is the best way i can put it. So far so good though. I still have plenty of time to ruin it though! Wish me luck! Check back when i peel the paper back and bond everything together soon! Thanks for watching!

RAMPAGE XM
2012 had the seeds planted for the RAMPAGE. A direct derivate from the legendary & innovative X2C subwoofer with a 5″ voice coil. Although the RAMPAGE XM is based on a 4″ coil platform, its performance will not stand in the shade of its heritage. In many ways, it pushes the boundaries even further. The new basket offers better cooling with improved SAFT (Smooth Air Flow Tech) & has the ability of offering even more XMAX than the previous basket . 3.15″/ 80 mm peak to peak handled by the 315 mm / 12.4″ spiders , that are amongst the largest you will find on any traditional 15″ subwoofer (without the use of adapters), in addition the new basket offers a triple landing so you can customize the stiffness and spider size to your application.
OCAF
OCAF version II (Optimized Cooling And Flow) implemented in the new motor design has adapted the large flares from the X2C’s backplate. In addition the pole piece features a dual cooling system that leads the air more efficiently away from the voice coil. Even though the internal diameter of the coil is 4″, the outer diameter of 4.33″ makes this coil a widebody, coupled with an 8 layer tall winding, this design is made for daily abuse or demo days!
The RAMPAGE XM’s motor keeps the same 10.24″ diameter as previous XM subwoofers, but the triple stack ferrite slugs are increased by 25%. Still we are able to keep the entire height of the motor to a mere 10% more than 2nd gen XM. With the longer Xmech, the added 10% comes into play.
Stiffness
Another tool was made for the XL composite dustcaps with embossed B2 logo. The half spherical design with wider wedges stiffens up the cone, offering greater stability, and helps keep that transient response tight. So when the bass drops its on point. Using a slightly wider strech foam surround there’s less mechanical parts that will limit your stroke.

I once had one of the loudest trucks in Michigan. 7 12's and 2 15 inch subwoofers. It pounded hard as hell the ground shook. I set off every car alarm shook all the houses on every street I drove down. Oh boy I miss that system it got stolen.
I remember it was a plexiglass window on wooden box with a mirror inside that made me fall in love with car audio when I was a kid.

This is the most freaking awesome box I've ever seen
Years ago I was part of an install team that did 2 acrylic boxes for a customer. We had a place in FL that built fish tanks build them. When they arrived the corners were not rounded over as specified so we had to do it. Seems like it took FOREVER to finally get all the rounded corners sanded and then polished to crystal clear. We literally would not touch the boxes without wearing soft gloves and/or wrapping them up in moving blankets. The customer won world champ in his power class that year, so that was cool. Box looks great! I miss doing audio stuff sometimes.

Must be very tricky to keep that acrylic scratch free when it’s that big and heavy and the subs are big and heavy. Good save though! Plus with those spacers!
