You were not the only one with a disaster this WIP and chat…..mine just wasn’t as traumatic. I started a new 20x 20 today while listening and the first color I placed was the wrong one! Thankfully it was only like 20 drills, but was frustrating anyway. I did manage to finish my section which is quarter of the piece. It is a cow piece that I am using as practice for larger pieces, and will become a gift for my sister. I am so glad I found all of you diamond painters on here. I have learned so much. I may take part in the March event. I think I may have a dragon that is large enough. I already have a HUGE stash and am only on my second painting…lol. Have a wonderful day and I will be here for the next one.

Hi shay! The trick to snow and ice roads is slow and steady. It doesn't matter what type of vehicle you have, drive slow and give yourself plenty of time and room to stop.

Hey Shay! Peel the whole sticker and reattach it to the backing with a lip of release paper exposed. Makes it much easier.

Thank you for the WIP and chat, Shay! I typically listen to WIP and chats while I am diamond painting. I listen to 10 to life, as well. I haven't watched the Casey Anthony one yet, though. You have lots of room in the cabinet, let me come organize for you! 😊 you will be able to buy a ton more. Oh boy, that poor puppy, you better hurry up and get the DACs off the floor before he eats those! I do also enjoy kitting up, and it makes me crazy when I don't have stickers, we have been so spoiled. I would have put that list back through the sticker maker again so you didn't have to struggle. I hurt for you the whole time watching you try to get the back off of there. I am outside of Chicago and we are supposed to be getting 22 inches of snow tonight into tomorrow, Friday. Looks like I will be diamond painting all weekend! Hope u have a great weekend!

With your weather being so warm, the snow will most likely just stick to the grass and the street will be clear. That's what happens here in Utah. So should be pretty and safe . Hopefully

BTW, next time roll those stickers off the backing like tape and cut just the sticky parts off so you have the backing strip there to make it easier to peel... my hard learned lesson from experience 😉

Well I was attempting to speed puzzle while listening, but this was just too entertaining 🤣Sorry Ollie destroyed so much. At least that was a small, budget kit and probably something you could source drills from if needed. Those snores at the end though!

Oh, Ollie! LOL. My dog snore but not quite so loud. My dog Obi-Wan would have chewed up that kit, too. 🙂 I have Tye Dyed French Bulldog in my stash, but I think it looks more like a chihuahua, which both my dogs are mixes of. Now that you point that out about the tail, I think chihuahua even more. And I think you should feel free to talk about work, especially if you have something on your mind you want to hash out with us.

Hi Shay, overall I’m doing well. Just can’t get rid of this cold. Going on 4 weeks now. Ugh. I hate kitting up but I had read on someone’s facebook that they don’t like kitting up either so they just kit up as they go. I tried that v with the current painting I’m doing and I like that much better. Have a great week everyone.

Hi Shay x What a wonderful kit up and chat. Lol Ollie is just being a toddler 🤣 The fact he has shown interest in you hobbi you should be so proud 😅. Those labels would of ended up in the bin. I just write the DMC no on little labels and that is my complicated system lol. I feel sad Butter isn't involved in Mermaids and Magic this year and I send her hugs. I will have to go check out your partner in crime for this year. Maissie our 1/2 French Bulldog is our loudest pup she thinks she is a greatdane I'm sure. She is so Allerton and always upto mischief. She loves cardboard and collects it lol.

It is Saturday, January 13th and it's very cold 🥶 here temperature is -7 it feels like -21° I'm working on a Diamond Painting that my husband bought me for Christmas it is The Peanuts Gang. He bought at our local Hobby Lobby.

When you forget to leave a tab on the side of stickers like these, if you will start from the top like you are gonna peel the whole backing off, but only go so far down and cut them it leaves you a tab at the top and makes it easier.

Girl, I am 1,000% serious about helping you with Beachcomers Bounty. I’ll do as much or as little of the canvas as you want so you can hang it in your craft room. (I squealed like a little kid when you brought it up because I want to work in that canvas so much.)
What is it with guys and long hair? Sean often has about the same reaction, “wow, that’s short.” 🤣 Like you I am NOT a salon price gal. I don’t know if there are any around you but I often go to one of the cosmetology schools for cuts. At the Paul Mitchell school near me, you can pay a few dollars extra to get one of the stylists closest to graduation or even a few dollars more to get one of the instructors. It’s so much more reasonably priced for no-frills hair like mine.
I’m so glad that you’ll be able to host Mermaids and Magic 2024. Randee will be missed but totally understand her not being able to commit. I’m so glad Alyssa will be there to co-host with you…that admin help is a gift!

I had a pug puppy and I couldn't diamond paint at all for a while....I'm surprised you are still able to do this whole thing with a puppy around. They need 24/7 attention or stuff like that happens and they get into things they shouldn't. I hope he's okay if he ingests drills...I've heard horror stories from others in Facebook groups that their dogs got sick because they swallowed drills. :/ Cutie but man a handful Ollie looks. xD
