  • In This Episode we deal with one of the biggest fears for an offshore sailor. We ran out of water because our second tank was contaminated by sea water. What do we do about it?

So happy to hear another music section. Im glad you figured out the reason for the contamination. You seem to be building a to do list for Hawaii. Great fun and the sea state just looks amazing like all the other videos from this crossing.

Seems like there’s always a list at the end of every passage lol

Why would you have a system that requires u to stop sailing or not hard sailing to make water???

Curious about water tank , is there a way to draw the salt water out & rerun it through water maker?

We could do that, but it really isn’t any point because it needs to drain out of the tank completely and you may as well just use the sea water.

Tofer won't be able to respond to your comments right away as he is off shore and his starlink is down.

Could you use the contaminated tank as the source for your water maker?

Sure, you could do that if you wanted to, but there really isn’t any point in. In it. It’s already plumbed up to use the ocean.
