Always surprises me the comments only ever see the music industry, to me Harry was saying it was just as much about him, taking people for granted, abusing his own fame and becoming a real Diva, turning into somebody he didn't want to be (Falling) thank goodness he recognised that and over come it, making him a better, happier person, I am seeing him live in May and can't wait, I have all his albums on vinyl, each album gets better, musically Harry's House has matured so much, always look forward to Harry's next albums, you never know what your going to get, really enjoyed your views of the album 🙏
Well, maybe he felt like that, I don't know, but he never spoke about it, he usually speaks how the fame burdens him and means nothing and there's not one person calling him arrogant or diva so I don't think it's selfreflection. And Falling isn't about that for sure. The way I see this clearly comic video is him mocking the way haters and gawkers see him as. Any criticism towards Harry includes "he's priveledged, he's fake, he's label's golden egg, diva, he's gonna fall from the pedesal", when he hears that, he mocks it cuz he knows he's not about that. At least his is how I understand his video. But as with any Harry's video, there can be tons of meaning so let's assume we're both right)
I think it's mainly about the industry and a little bit about the fans, but I do think there's self-disgust here too, about what he'd do for the money, etc, and him behaving like an asshole, for sure.

Dark imagery about the music industry
At the beginning of the video, there was a crab that looked exactly like the X Factor sign.. They called the phone, which means that they found a new talent .. In fact, they found an octopus (because Harry is talented in many fields, an artist, actor, and model).. So they took him to their world (the music industry). The music industry was likened to a sushi restaurant .. Then they threw a fish at him (Harry ate the bait = ate the fish) and he became famous and everyone became his servants .. because he is the source of the money .. But after a long time, Harry could no longer sing, meaning that he was no longer a source of money for them, so they took him to cut him and cook him, meaning that he would be sold in either case..This represents the music industry and how they deal with you on the basis of a source of money only. They will care about you and serve you when you continue to bring them money. 💔
Glad you enjoyed this! It's a shame how it was looked over, even by the fans, when it came out. IMO it's one of his best, maybe even THE best mv of his. The most Harry at least!

It's for sure a statement on how the music industry works. As long as you can perform and make them money your treated like a king. When you can no longer perform your on the chopping block and they are on to the next. Even the guy who says "can I touch your tail" I'm sure is about how so many fans he runs into on a daily basis feel they have the right to just touch him. I always see videos of fans meeting him and they go hug him without even asking. What a weird life he must have.

Great that you enjoy the video. Some people can’t stand watching it because of all the slimy stuff 😂 One thing I have to point out is his acting here is very on point (better than in his movies)

Yeah It's about music industry!
In the beginning, they saw Harry and like the rest of the fish, they wanted to kill him to make sushi! Harry was scared in the kitchen when he saw them and saw what they were doing and their purpose! He sing slowly for himself and They heard his voice and realized that he was able to sing! So they can use him for entertainment and money for the benefit of their restaurant! And in a part of the video, it can be seen that Harry is reading papers contracts and then he says "whatever you want" and also it can be seen that he wasn't okay with those papers and what they told him to do!
All is well until Harry can no longer sing! There is no use and money for them anymore, so they kill him and make sushi with him!!

I used to like this song, but the video tells a different story, one of exploitation - the music industry will use him just as long as he's useful to them, but if loses his voice then they'll kill him and slice him up, making their money out of him one way or another. It tells of how he hates fans wanting to touch him (sexualise him, etc, which has happened since he was 16), and also perhaps of what an asshole he became because he loved the money. There are also subtle clues in here about his sexuality for those who keep their eyes peeled - his dressing room is in the ladies room and while he's alive he's a mermaid on the sign - only when he's dead and sushi does he become male on the sign. Some people think the long-faced character rescues him in the end but I'm not sure about that personally.
I don’t think he has ever become an asshole. Everyone who meets him says he is so sweet, kind, generous, very shy and whoever he is talking to, he gives them his full attention. He also has kept his friends from when he was a small child so I doubt, if he was an ass or a diva, they would still want to be his friend.
