When I was a teenager I had some of the very best times in my life riding my gt...I only had the pleasure of owning the 185 but I'll always remember that beautiful tiny sound of the twin..ram air system..and the long powerband..😂😃gt seriously love all of em!!!
I bought a new 750j in 1972 , I live in Queensland , in 1999 I went back to Suzuki and bought 4 j k l m they were going cheap then . Today I have Suzuki 1800 a beautiful bike still riding at 75
They were a classic bike, I had one many years ago it had a 3 into 1 expansion exhaust and used to sound like a formula 1 racecar when you took it over 3k. It was so loud with that exhaust you could hear it 5km away easily on a quiet night. I know this because my friends told me they could hear me coming long before I got there.
I was a teenager back in the mid 1970's when bikes like the Kettle was King. I always loved the look and sound of them, and always dreamed of owning one, but never did.My brother bought one in 1986 and he let me ride it around the block, Wow loved the sound of that 3 cylinder engine. Such a shame he sold it some years later for only £600to some moron, who bought it with the sole intention of wrecking it in the shortest possible time. Sad to say, he did, if I'dd had the cash back then, I would have bought itmyself, to save it from the Junkyard. My other favourite bike back then was the mightyKawasaki 900 Z1. Aah, great days.
Having just bought my second yesterday, I've joined the club and look forward to a Kettle ride out! Here's mine: th-cam.com/video/XzcE5_KBfnc/w-d-xo.html
