Firstly, this is precisely what i was looking for today, a video with cooking sounds , with no face, no talk, no interraction. And what do i see here? Eden Garden- with happy squirrels jumping around , hens clucking, birds chirping.. oh my!! Pure Heaven. Then back into the wonder house, so clean, so beautiful, The Good Fairy starts cooking with such smooth moves. Oh dear. Thats just pure bliss! Then the prayer for the food, then she starts eating ( i would have loved listening to your chewing until the end 😊), and then this bliss ends with the sweetest cutest most adorable kitty face begging for a bite!! ! You just made my day today! Watching you at the Paradise Corner in your home, then at the creek, then outside your home, then in the kitchen cooking , plus the video in which you wash the dishes - it was like watching the very most beautiful and blissful and relaxing movie. There is no rhyme or reason for it, it is classified as an anxiety condition, and is neaurological. Still a mystery for the medical and science fields. ASMR is a balancing mechanism I love because it has sounds that are pleasant, relaxing, and soothing. It's a heaven esp for people who suffer from Misophonia. A Godsend!
Amber I know about the anxiety association and how hard that is. Not through my own experience but my loved ones. It would drive my husband wild when I made certain noises. Fortunately we have found middle ground. Maybe that’s why I do things more slowly and quietly in my videos. 🤔 As mysterious as it all is, this sound phenomena, psychologically is looking more seriously at all of it. My daughter who is a nurse says that ASMR is being considered for therapy. Isn’t that a hoot? But it should be in my opinion because it sure helps me.
This was so enjoyable! I grew up in a household that was too noisy for my sensibilities. Noisy sisters and a mother who yelled. (I love my mom, but it is what it is) Watching your videos and how you do things, is how I would have liked to grow up. Everything seems so peaceful. The asmr that you provide, makes me feel calm. I suffered a childhood trauma that has caused anxiety in my adult life, and undiagnosed ptsd. I watch these videos because they are soothing, and I want to thank you soooo much for that! It’s incredible how you can make me feel so comforted by making such normal everyday sounds lol you are a real artist! Thank you Rebecca! 💕
Your transparency is remarkable Carmen. I appreciate the story of your childhood and how it relates to ptsd. Sometimes the result of childhood trauma doesn’t manifest until adulthood. I have to be honest with you and confess that my household was not at all quiet like this. I raised 4 children and we were all rowdy. But we were quiet in spirit because of our faith. Much love happened in spite of the dysfunction. My children have their reasons to forgive me. 😁 As for my style of asmr... It’s a dream world. It’s just me and my husband now so I can keep the chaos out of my videos. I can edit out the sound of cars and rude neighbors yelling...etc. I try to produce organic and nostalgic scenarios with the best possible reality. Something akin to our sacred romance with the past. Our most beloved memories. Yet, only a dream.

Frying the egg in the bacon grease will forever remind me of how my late grandfather and late mother used to cook ❤️ it wasn’t healthy honestly but it’s how they cooked without wasting or using multiple pans and it always tasted better lol Or they’d fry diced potatoes in the pan after the bacon

Every summer as a youngster, I would spend a week visiting with my Nana. I would wake up to the smell of bacon and eggs, coffee brewing...this brought back that sweet time. Did you ever notice how the sound of bacon sizzling sounds like wood crackling in the fireplace? And yours came out perfectly! I usually just bake mine, lol. And thank you for spending a little time, listening to the coffee brewing. Are there many more friendly/inviting sounds than coffee perking? It makes me think of gathering with friends and something yummy to go with it! I wish I could find some cinnamon flavored coffee [like you used]...did you buy that locally? And the surprise guest at the table was the perfect ending, lol! Another perfectly homey, comforting video, dear friend...and I thank you so much
I order my flavored coffee from a company online called CoffeeAM. I’m so glad you appreciated this video Pam. I didn’t quite know how to level out volumes on different things at the time I made this. The bacon frying is a bit loud. But if you can look beyond that and just feel the nostalgia like you did, it works. We have so much in common! I can’t remember now what kind of sister you said we are. Darn!

By the way, how on earth do you manage to peel off the eggs in such a perfect manner??? I never can do that! Everytime i peel an egg of its shell I peel half of the egg too 😧
😂😂😂. I know right?! I had to make sure I bought a certain brand of eggs to begin with. Load lots of baking soda in the water before cooking. Then crack the shells slightly before filming. Always make sure the eggs are getting water under that layer of skin just under the shell to loosen it. Sometimes nothing works. 😂
Just put them in cold water right after you boil them :) the egg white will 'shrink' but the shell stays the same size. This will create some space between the shell and the egg and makes it super easy to peel! In my country we call it scaring the eggs xd
It probably is already a throwback for a lot of people. So many people don’t eat eggs and bacon anymore. And not too many collect their eggs fresh out of their yard. 😂😂
Dave's Bread good stuff they make a cinnamon raisin version too I think🤔 My fave is Cinnabon Cinnamon bread it has their signature light blue color on the packaging it's DELICIOUS if you guys have it out there look for it and try it, if you haven't already. So yummy. Your breakfast looks delish! Loved the percolating coffee sounds and the pouring.

love it! i once told my mom that i might switch back to a drip coffee maker. not a fan of this Keurig stuff. i think coffee needs to be brewed slow and peacefully 😌 i haven’t made that switch but this kind of pushed me a bit more. 😁

love it! i once told my mom that i might switch back to a drip coffee maker. not a fan of this Keurig stuff. i think coffee needs to be brewed slow and peacefully 😌 i haven’t made that switch but this kind of pushed me a bit more. 😁

Caro, I definitely prefer it when people speak English because it saves me so much time if I don’t have to go use a translator. So thank you very much. Definitely did not eat those sandwiches for breakfast. My daughter and I had them for lunch. A lot of people seem to feel the same way as you about the sandwiches. They say it is too fattening. 😂
