  • In this video, we show you how to record a great sounding indie guitar, using a Fender Blues Junior amp and a Fender Tele. We used Softube plug-ins to generate tone and effects, and show you how to re-amp, using Focusrite Control and the Clarett 2Pre.

great video! y'all are giving away so many good secrets haha. things such as panning each guit track hard left and hard right to get a huge sound, using your phone flashlight to find the best spot on the speaker, etc.

Question: last I heard, reamping requires a dedicated reamp box (such as Radial's offerings), since line levels are not the same as a guitar signal. Can you elaborate on using the line outputs on the Clarett for reamping?

I love the potential of recording both a direct and live track simultaneously - does anyone know if it's possible to then use that dry track to feed back into the amp or pedalboard if you decide to change the effects or amp settings and to record that as another live track?

Is there a way to connect a foot switch for punching in "record?"

Is that line out from the interface going to the input of the amp. Or the amps line out? Thanks

Hi there, I am wondering if I can connect a longer USBc cable and how long is OK before it loses signal? I have the 4 pre Clarett usb c and I would like to set up away from Mac mini and am not sure how to extend the connection between mac and clarett. Thank you.

Hi there, I have a question about the routing inputs/outputs with the Focusrite Control software. Is it possible to route the inputs of the interface directly to the outputs without contversion to digital and back to analog? For usig only as a mic pre, and for example using another A-D converter. Thanks

Would you recommend 4 pre over 2 pre because of expandability for a beginner ?

I purchased a 2i2 but the Softube and it won’t work in GarageBand. I downloaded Logic Pro demo and the Marshall amp sim works in logic but not GarageBand. Anyone else have this problem?

Thunderbolt seems to be a very latency low connection indeed. But what about the USB version without thunderbolt? Does the latency go up with a USB connection?

Видео хорошее. А если упростить до минимума подключение и записи будет легче и принято по другому. Много наворотов это держит и отводит.
