Here is something interesting I discovered today: if you zoom inside the blue delivery van (the one that delivers photos or your Sims' finished novels) there are actually boxes in the back of the van. The boxes include shipping labels with numbers and bar codes. What an amazing detail!
Here's another: the plaques that you get for gaining maximum enthusiasm in a hobby have little writings on their backs, where the trophy shop store sticker would go, just like real plaques. Amazing.
One thing I've always loved in TS2 is, if you have both the cheap toilet and the cheap shower, and have Sims use them at the same time, the Sim in the shower will freak out, as though the water temperature suddenly changed.
And the person taking a shower can also freak out if a second person suddenly comes into the bathroom. Then after the shower, the sim who got scared will go scold the other sim.
Another detail: If Sim A is sitting on a couch and Sim B serenades her/him, there's a unique animation where the Sim A reacts to the serenade WHILE sitting on the couch!
My cop got her behind whooped by the burglar and he ran off! She arrived before he stole anything, but she just took her beating, sadly apologized that she was getting too old for the job, got in her cruiser, and away she went. Off to fail at fighting crime another day.
Can they just make a remake of sims 2? For both pc/mac and console? This would also be a great way to let players who didn't had the luxury to play this awesome game experience it on their own.
About burglars! Once i saw on my gameplay that the son of the Broke family, which was working in the delincuency job as an adult in that save at the time, was the one robbing ANOTHER of the sim's neighborhood house i was playing in!! It was so shocking to see that it actually demonstrates that they can actually show up to rob another playable sims house because of their career choice, it shocked me when i saw it. I never knew if it was a feature or a bug.
2 things I liked are about greetings and goodbyes The first one is if 2 best friends forever Sims are on the same lot they will wave at eachother And the goodbye is if 2 grilled cheese Sims are saying goodbye to eachother they will talk with eachother about grilled cheese I don't know if it has been done before or if it's a too small detail but I really liked those interactions
I didn't know freeing the burglar was an option in the Sims 2. I only know of it in the Sims 3 where your sim can free the burglar while the burglar is waiting by the police car and the police officer is searching the house. The burgar will then thank you and I think you get some relationship points by doing it
I don't remember where I saw or read this, but I think that the burglar will thank you in a few days if you set them free? Not confirmed, though. I haven't been able to test it myself.
Yep it's super random, i'm still not 100% what triggers it, also funnily enough i've just read a comment from someone that said they always get the interaction haha

That satellite death became my main cause of death in this game that it made me quit cloud watching/stargazing. After 2 hours in sim time it usually just happens... least for me 😱
My goodness how I love these little details in ts2. I love ts3 and the open world aspect, but the extra bits and bobs that were in in ts2 are top tier. I don’t know why or how ts4 was green-lighted and the devs actually had the face & gall to release that travesty (ts4.) After what was developed and produced in both ts2 and 3, how they could think ts4 would be superior, especially sims themselves belongs on unsolved mysteries. Here’s to hoping ts5 will include the best parts of each previous iteration.

If you cheat your way and add the Grim Reaper into your family tree, when you navigate in the family tree only his avatar will move. ( ex: A sim has 2 kids with the Grim Reaper, when i click and swich them the Grim avatar moves). Also he has flowers around His neck 😂
if a sim isn’t married but gets pregnant while still living with their parents, their parents will be furious with the sim that is pregnant and the father

I dunno, maybe you know about it( because I play the sims 2 only about a year) Today I saw: my sim has an enemy. On the next day she was walking near my house and stole my newspaper. She was running than stopped and was reading it. ✌️
He totally does. But he's learning and growing what he wants to offer and do on his channel. I subscribed because I want to see where he goes next. He's just got to get into his own groove, you know? I enjoy his videos too, as repetitive as they are.

I've been playing this game for 15 years and even now I learn something new. The best game ever, really

Mean sims have an option to cheat in dart and chess. They might get caught though.
