I finally went on anxiety medication for the first time after years of trying to control it with hot yoga, eating right, etc. and man, it's been a life changer! I hope you find some peace this holiday season. It is superrrr stressful!
BinaBina I started taking 5mg of Buspar twice a day (total of 10mg). I’m glad she started me low because I’ve heard people say it made them so dizzy they could not get out of bed. It did give me a little dizziness for the first two weeks, maybe three, but it was not unbearable. It has been a life changer! About a month after I started taking it, I realized I had some low-grade depression, as well. The pit in my stomach was gone, but I was still sad, So my doctor decided to put me on 10 mg of Lexapro, which has also helped. Our daughter has been ill for about seven years and it’s really stressful. My anxiety presents itself as a nervous pit in my stomach and worried, repetitive thoughts. Therapy helps, too, but I have to find the right therapist. The first one wanted to just ask me about my dad (don’t they all start there??) and the Second one just wanted to talk about herself! I really just wanted someone to talk about my child’s illness and how to help me deal with that. BTW, my general practitioner is great, because their specialty is not psychiatric medication, so she sent me to the behavioral health center next-door. You really need someone who knows about psychiatric meds. If they give you the wrong one without a diagnosis, it can really screw you up. So make sure you get a good diagnosis! Good luck! It’s a lot of trial and error, but in the end can be so helpful if you find the right combo.

so don't quote me on this, but I've heard that time goes by faster when your heart rate is slower. that's why time seems to go by so slowly when you're working out, esp. cardio. when we were younger our resting heart rate was faster than it is now. also, we gain wisdom and have responsibilities so time just goes by faster lol. idk man, I wanna know why time seems to go by faster and faster too
ive heard it was because when youre younger, the time between christmases is more of your lifetime. for example, if you're 7 years old, a year is 1/7 of your life, vs if youre 25 years old, a year is 1/25 of your life. so a year passing to a 7 year old seems super long because their life is literally not as long as a 25 year old, who has more time being alive to compare each day to and that makes time seem to move faster. does that make any sense? im not sure im explaining myself clearly
