As a first-time GM, this video gave me some ideas! I noticed during my playthrough of The Warren that my players weren't thinking creatively and trying to observe their environment for clues. I need to do like your oubliette situation, where I trap them in a hole and force them to figure a way out! Then they'll learn the importance of asking questions and thinking critically
It can be difficult for new players to know what they can do, because they aren't really used to being able to do anything. I think this game certainly does a good job of easing people into that idea. Thanks for watching, and best of luck with your The Warren campaign!
It was a really nice moment. She has since progressed to playing D&D with a group of friends at school. I think a lot more of their problems are being solved with fireballs.
I bought myself this book for this years Christmas... and I can't wait to play it with my friends, whenever we want a lighter RPG-experience or when one person cannot make it. It is also a great way of just saying: "we don't need stats and combat for a good time", which is also why I moved away from games like DnD and Pathfinder, since they tend to "disorient" players away from roleplaying and more into funny-fighty-level-loot-mechanics, forgetting that there is a story in place, which is why the GM has all this fluff prepared and added ^^

Your daughter figuring out the oubliette door was a classic Sarah moment. Well done, her!

What an awesome little RPG system. Great way to play with your kids too!
It really is lovely. Perfect to get the kids involved with. We are having so much fun with it.

It's a fun book. I hope you enjoy it.
Wormy! Thats adorable!
The idea of my daughter as a cute little worm riding around on my wife's shoulder amuses me. Thanks for watching.
oooo I might have to invest
For a quick, accessible RPG I think it's great.
Where did you get the music from. is it your own or free.
My friend James Lloyd provides all my music, which is exclusive to the channel. Details are in the video description.
it is possible to sent me this song play in the background. this melody is so chilly.
