No wonder, those horns are lethal !!! Lived in Scotland as a child for 3 years and often saw these beautiful animals out in the wild - one chased me up a tree to rub his or her back - got stuck there for at least an hour !!!!

Went to Scotland this year and gave a highland coo some neck scratches.
He made some noises, leaned into it and (using his horns) rested his head on the dividing fence.
I guess with all that hair constantly getting wet and matted they've learned to capitalise on the comfort that comes from humans brushing it.

Highland cattle are an ancient Scottish breed that can take bad weather. They are tough like that, but are gentle in nature. :)
Depends on how they are raised. If they receive a kind upbringing, they trust you.

When I was a dog groomer I once spent all day de-tangling, brushing and bathing a terribly matted St. Bernard. This would be like doing about four St. Bernards, but Hamish is pretty cute.
Used to be?? Why are u not still? Im planning on killing myself when i can no longer groom. I will have nothing to contribute tonsociety. And 26 years later. W RA. With Lupus, with osteo arthritus, with Sjogrens, with spinal stenosis and black lungs full.of hair i have devoted my entire life to helping and l9ving dogs. I used to do cats but mot since i became ill. I only love animals cant stand most people . So i fail at l9ve thy neighbor as yourself.ill bevworthless without my dogs. Ill go insane when i can no longer be stressed out to the max and atill busting Ass at age 51. And i will no longer wish to live. Idk how anyone can give all that love , sweat and determination up. How pathetic.and i do gmgaveca college d3gree and i amma Certified All breed groomer! And the dogs are all i have. Theybare my only purpose 4 being alive. Its so true. So shame on u for giving up

I've heard that Scottish Highlands love their humans to the inth degree, and they're 1000 pound lap dogs,lol.
Scottish Highlanders are not only beautiful but wonderful! With all that fur they dont need or like barns and stay outside even when very cold! If anything they need shade! I remember icicles forming on their bangs from their breath. We raised two females, Lucy and Ethel, later bred and had two babies! Talk about cute with curly hair all over and a short snout!

@@azoresplayah No vegan ever bred and raised such a beast. This breed was bred for meat and dairy by the dozens generations of farmers. Satisfying demonic taste-buds is about sugar, wheat, and fake meat. No any vegan cookery will replace meat and dairy in human nutrition.

But yeah so we this many cow sheds in india. Our family went to two cause they were closer. Cows hug and nuzzle their head with us. Very sweet yeah. We fee them bread and roti(indian food) and grass. I miss those cows but their poop is pretty gross but anyway you I get yoy

They are Highlands cattle, a Scottish breed. Sometimes referred to as "muckle coo's" there. What does that mean? "Big cows", maybe?
