Yes ! I remember being obsessed with this song back then 😭 I was new to kpop since I had gotten into kpop in the summer of 2019. All the memories are coming back 🙁

Another group that deserves so much more attention imo
they wrote and produced most of their songs and hollywood they wrote the lyrics and daehwi produced the song and woojin choreographed it❤
Daehwi is one of those people who you might not know the group of, but you might know him because he's everywhere. He was the MC of MCountdown for about 1.5 years before Miyeon and is currently the MC of Simply Kpop. He will also MC for some big festival/shows every now and then. He's probably one of the most multi-talented idols in 4th gen. He pretty much excels in every part of the industry - besides singing and dancing (he sings live nearly every broadcast performance), he also produces - so He produced Hollywood, Breathe, Blind For Love & Sugarcoat. Loser, he wrote the lyrics for. I would also suggest checking out Salute and Cherry, those two are quite good too. He also is very good MCing and doing variety work. Additionally, lately he's been into acting, and has been in 1 web drama and 1 tv drama. You might have also seen him do a few collabs - he's quite a social butterfly. He's in 00's with Hyunjin, Sanha and Bomin (aka Psycho cover) and you might have also seen him doing an end of year collab with Sunmi & Seulgi doing Heroine. So pretty much, he's everywhere.
ab6ix has one of the best discocraphy in 4th gen besides cix, enhypen, trendz, and the boyz, so I'm glad you like it.

@rjkpop It’s crazy how the songs you’ve selected to react to all have Daehwi as either the producer or lyricist.
I remember being obsessed with "Hollywood" when it first came out and then I'm not sure what happened but they just seemed to disappear for me. It's good to see them getting some attention now.

12:35 Except for the blonde haired member, they were all Produce 101 trainees. Daehwi ( with red hair ) and Woojin ( with orange hair ) were in Wanna one . The member with yellow hair was in Yg company . Maybe if you watched the video where stray kids and treasure members competed, you might have seen it.

Sugarcoat is definitely the most underrated title song of 2022. It's woth checking out a live stage for it, the fan chant during the instrumental part at the end is crazy 😅

AB6IX is so good 😭😭 i hope you continue to check them out cause they're so talented and underrated. especially "Close", Stay Young" and "Cherry"! their song "Salute" is also good, but it's more on the Hollywood side
as other comments have mentioned, woojin and daehwi were in wanna one. Daehwi was also in the 00z psycho stage with hyunjin, sanha and bomin, so you might recognise him from there!

yay thanks for checking them out!! so happy to see ab6ix on your channel. as others mentioned, the one you thought was familiar is daehwi! he is around a lot i think so you have maybe seen him on something or other lol. him and woojin (the deep voiced rapper that you liked) were in wanna one as well~!! hope to see you react to more of their stuff at some point too!
Daehwi is actually the main producer for all those songs except Loser which he only wrote lyrics for. Hollywood he pretty much did everything, composed, lyrics and arranged. The others he composed and wrote lyrics. Woojin, the rapper composes his own lyrics for all too. All the members actually produce. Check out their bsides. There's always a treasure for everyone whatever genre of song you like. Daehwi has been the MC of Mcountdown and he MCs on a lot of events, might be why he's familiar to you. Daehwi, Woojin and Baejin (CIX) were on Wanna One.

Loved your reaction to AB6IX. They are an ult group (I have so many ult groups lol) with Daehwi and Woojin being ult biases and Woong and Donghyun are ult wreckers. All of their songs are so good. So, I am very happy you decided to check them out. Oh, and btw they will be having a tour this year and will be in Tampa for the tour on Aug. 22. Which I will be going to, and it will be my first concert ever and I am super excited. And whatever mvs you decide to react to next from them I will be happy to see you react to them.
Omg the b side song Reality that is off the same album as Loser I HIGHLY recommend that song its so freaking good!!!!!

Daehwi looks like mix of two people: Jihoon from TREASURE and Seungmin from STRAY KIDS. ☺ And for your information AB6IX is really close with such team as: Stray Kids, Ateez, pobably Oneus, Treasure and CIX too (because some members know each other from trainee year) ♥

Ab6ix are so good im happy you got them on your channel. And as you asked, Daehwi has been producing their music since predebut. Hollywood was first performed in PD101 szn 2 as part of agency evaluation. It was also the first time all five of them performed together. It was produced by Daehwi(if im not wrong he took part in all lyrics writing arrangement and composing) and the Woojin choreographed the dance.
Every album they have Daehwi always has part in the production of some songs on there. He is also the one who wrote and produced their debut song “Breathe”. And Woojin mostly is the one who teaches the members choreo. Im not sure of which choreo were made by him but he is the one who often teaches them the choreo😊
I knew Daewhi before i knew who he was or wt group he was in you just see him everywhere some how..he kinda give Keeho vibes from what ive seen of him.
AB6IX is another group that deserves more attention ;-; Thank u so much for finding them. and other songs besides the title track are very interesting too. Hope you will listen and like it. anyway than u very much, so much for reaction AB6IX ;-;. Hope u enjoy to listining heir music.
P.S. For some songs, Daehwi participated in writing the lyrics and producing them himself. And some songs, all the members participated in the composition themselves as well.

Ab6ix was supposed to debut as 4 (youngmin, donghyun,woojin, daehwi) but the ceo asked them if they wanted to add someone else so they all wanted Woong to be added.
Daehwi and woojin was in wanna one (with bae jinyoung) the group final of PRODUCE 101 S2.
I really love them since produce for the original 4 and i always knew Woong from his YG times (since he trained with some cix members and Treasure...)
They are a group who was really appreciate but at the same time put aside sadly 🥺 daehwi produced a lot of song as the final song for PRODUCE x 101 (X1).
Ps ; i think Daehwi is friend with dongpyo (mirae) and jaechan (dkz)
So you probably saw him in jaechan show I'm not sure
I freaking love Ab6ix!!! My 2 biases are Woong and Woojin but the whole group is amazing! Breathe is definitely my fav group song but Moondance(Woong solo song A MUST WATCH!!) is my favorite song!!!!

Daehwi and Woojin were both in Wanna One before AB6IX and Jinyoung was also in Wanna One! Daehwi has been all over the place so idk exactly how you've seen him but yeah lol
Oh yeah and btw I don't remember exactly but Breathe was about air pollution I believe and that's why the mv it's like hazy(?) but anyways hands down one of the best debuts ever
