    A nice touch Leonard, bringing that little train back to the place of it's birth. And it still works too!

    That is a lot of fun to watch run. Nice to see old tinplate running in public in Wisconsin's neighbor to the south. I got a Marx set in a public space building, engine is customized (Former windup converted to electric, with headlght and firebox light added), and a bunch of accessories on the layout too. Something about that old litho that just seems right for Christmas.

    loved this vid! I think it's cool that you went to this location and did this vid, there is quite a bit of history with these old companies. I also saw the one on hafner, too. I have wind up's in my collection of marx trains. Thanks for an informative vid! Best of luck to you!

    That Chicago factory seems much smaller than the A.C.Gilbert plant in New Haven.

      The New Haven plant was pretty darn big long before they ever started making American Flyer trains there Gilbert had a lot of things on his plate that were being made in the factory trains only occupied a portion of it
