Sandeul isn't inderrated. He is huge in Korea as compared to other popular kpop artists overseas. He's even the VERY first male artist to be recognized as honorary ambassador for presidential election. There are some fr obviously popular kpop group but their names have yet to appear on Wikipedia. Got it? It's all about #substance. #bana

what I don't get is how this guy is so underrated and under appreciated. he has the looks, the outstanding beautiful vocals, and an adorable lovable weird fun personality. while some other idols get praised endlessly for being the "visuals" or just because they're from the big 3 companies and so on

I wouldn't say he's underappreciated. Maybe among some international fans that only care about their fandoms and biases (and don't watch music variety). But in Korea Sandeul is pretty established as a powerhouse vocalist. Older Koreans may even recognize him easilier than any random EXO member. Thanks to IS2, KoMS and Duet Song Festival, the public eye is quite aware of his vocal ability by now.
