- The story of Ae, a freshman from Engineering School and also a member of the college football team, who accidentally help Pete, a handsome freshman from International College, from his ex-boyfriend who's blackmailing Pete with the clip to expose his homosexuality to Pete's mother.
Ae helps Pete without expecting anything in return, but he doesn't know he's already been impressed and admired by Pete. And Pete knows so well that he's different. 1. He didn't actually 'do' it, he tried to but stopped , it can be seen in other dramas too, it happens, the important thing is he stopped and snapped out of it when he realized how uncomfortable Tar was because he cares for him
2. That time he didn't know what Tar had gone through yet
3. When Tar finally found the courage to tell him what happened, he was understanding and accepted everything and Tar as he was... even if Tar will not be able to return back his love he wants to love and care for him without expecting anything back, if Tar had declined his request I don't think he would've pressurize him either

1. I said sexual assault, not rape. What he did is by definition sexual assault. And Tar made it clear he was way past uncomfortable plenty before Tum actually stopped.
2. Not knowing someone has been raped doesn't make sexual assault more acceptable. And even if in some twisted universe it did, even without details Tum knew Tar was traumatized by something and vulnerable/in need of a support system.
3. This point I agree with, and is why I'm so angry about the sexually assault. If they ONLY had the listening, and accepting scene instead of adding the sexual assault then I would also think it a deep and touching relationship/interaction. But they didn't leave that out and therefore their interactions are tainted by that betrayal.
BUT THEY'RE BROTHERS, THAT'S INCEST, WHY DOES NOBODY SEEM TO CARE ABOUT THAT??
MadFatGinger actually Tar mentioned they are only STEP brothers- so no actual blood relations- their parents each had them separately with other people THEN got together. But obviously it would be awkward ro explain to strangers who might assume since their parents are married, that they ARE blood related brothers. (I can kinda sympathise with this since my mums brother married my dads sister- sounds like incest but totally isn’t lol

Never ask a victim of sexual assault/abuse about the details of what happened to them. Don't ask them when it happened, how it happened, how many people did it, what they were wearing. DON'T!
If a person comes to you and tells you that they went through some form of sexual assault - know that it took every bit of strength to actually talk to you about it - do not make them re-live the experience unless they're willing to tell you the full details themselves (it's really traumatizing). The best approach is to hug them (ask first of they're okay with this form of physical contact) and tell them they're going to be okay, they're worth it and that you're there for them, if they're feeling suicidal you can help them find crisis resources.

One of the most important parts of the recovery process after being sexually assaulted is to know that what happened to you is NOT your fault. It really breaks my heart to see that, even after 4 years, he still believes it was his fault.

As I've been back to rewatch this show, as well as UWMA, I have come to the conclusion that Earth deserves so many awards. He is one of the best actors I've ever seen that can portray such emotion so well. He's still a pretty new actor and hasn't been in a lot of things, but he deserves so much.

Yes, I don't understand how the writer can have a character deal with sexual assault when several other characters in the universe get forced into sexual situations (often while drunk) like Techno and Type (in Tharntype).
I'm like 4 months late but I was looking for someone to point it out. Similar thing happens in the erlier episodes of TharnType series. I feel like they're trying to romanticise this type of stories and it's so wrong.

Is anyone else crying so hard? The tears won’t stop. I’m glad Tar finally told Tum the truth because at least he doesn’t have to suffer alone. Regardless of what it is, it’s always nice to know that there is someone out there that cares about you and your pain as well. Phenomenal performance from both actors especially Tar. This scene made me cry so hard 😭. You really feel with Tar is feeling keeping this secret for 4 years... how can you hurt a puppy like Tar? Makes me so sad but I consider this a happy ending for Tum and Tar knowing that Tar is not alone... can’t stop crying

Quisiera haber visto mas de la historia de Tum Y Tar, es interesante y me dejo con muchas dudas.
Earth is such an amazing actor. When I was watching UWMA, one of his scenes had me actually sobbing and breaking down, and now in this, every emotion he's portraying feels so real, as if these things actually happened and he's confronting it.
The scene between tar and tum was really lovey and heartfelt poor tar he didn’t deserve what happened to him.

I watched uwma before this. And Earth was one who stood out for me. He's acting is on point and he delivers the required emotions well. So far, his role is something heavy and he gives justice to his characters. Kudos!!

Ae and Pete was the sweetest BL couple/pairing in any bl series/story. I love the scene when Pete talking with Ae in the phone until late night. It simple but yet so sweet. It just two people who fall in love enjoy spend the time talking to each other.
Ae Pete love story maybe The Sweetest BL story from any bl series/story ever. People see tht they are boring. But actually they are not. It just they solved their problem RIGHT Away. NOT Draging it too long. So not too much drama happend. They are just simple couple but not boring. They have a healthy relationship. Their relationship was so beautiful and wonderfull. The healtiest bl couple i hv ever seen. They make me feel happy and make me feel warm in my heart.
