another superb and informative build, not immediately on my list of things to build, but that is not important, the interesting is always the asides and little gems of info and application, such as the grease .. interesting, I shall also check out supplies, I normally use a typical HP car grease .. hehe .. a bit heavy .. thanks as always. and who has not had an escort growing up ??
I ain't long got this kit just waiting on bearings and oil dampers can't wait to build it iam a big fan of the mk1 and mk2 escorts thanks for the vid and I've subscribed 👍👍👍👍
Teri.... I can really appreciate your Back issues. I've got Rheumatoid Arthritis, Herniated L5, T6, T2, and have had C6-7 Disc replaced. Some Days are tough for sitting at the Bench. 😣😖 I like the MF-01X Chassis. Excellent for LIGHT Off-road terrain. But the bog standard Pogo Sticks are PANTS!! .... You well know that. I wanted the Mk2 Escort, mostly because my memories of the Escort are NOTHING like yours. The US got your Mk3 Escort - 1.4L bogged down with Emissions, and a 3-speed AUTOMATIC Gearbox!!! 😵😳😠😠 Couldn't spin its Tyres on SNOW! I missed this Kit when it came out, but....... IF the Cargo Ship bottleneck in Long Beach Harbour EVER gets sorted - I'll have one of the Wild One Blockhead edition!!! 😁😁😁 You did great! Well done indeed. Needs Interior. It's great to be able to reproduce a Car you used to own! If I ever find a RC Buick Grand National... I'M BUYING IT! 😎😊
My back issues comes from a moment of stupidity 20 years ago and it comes back every so often to remind me. it's bearable because it's only 2 weeks of discomfort. but I've got to push on and grin and bear it. Anyway, I'll be back to the trucks again really soon, I've got a wireless trailer light system review coming up.
I'm definitely looking forward to the wireless Trailer Lights! 👌 But I've got no problem with seeing Cars every now and then. Sorry if anyone else does.
I saw all your King hauler videos, there is only one thing, maybe put the camera overhead instead of your right because most of the time we don't see really what you're doing... !
No.., the only thing included with the kit is a Tamiya ESC and Motor... in this build I didn't use the ESC supplied because I don't like them. I used a Hobbywing 1060, For a basic build you will need the following - Controller Steering Servo Battery Charger The upgrades and options I used are - Hobbywing 1060 ECS Silver Matte Wheels Bearings Future additions will be- Oil Filled Dampers LED lights front and rear RX switch Ford 1600 Sport Decals

Had a couple of Mk2 and Mk1 escorts myself when I was younger. Like you I also wish I had kept them as they are worth a fortune now 🙄🤷♂️😫
they are crazy money now, I got to drive one a couple of months back and they're not as comfortable as I remember them.
