Good for you for taking care of yourself. I don’t know how I would have survived my loss without the grieving mother’s community that I’ve found here and through other outlets. Take care of yourself ❤

Brook, you have helped me so much by expressing your feelings that I thought were strange and didn't know what to say or do about them. I would start to cry! Sometimes, I would listen to a previous show, which would help bring me out of the sadness I was experiencing. My Grandson was the world to me, and I know this horrible tragedy will be with me for the rest of my life. You are a loving human being, and I see how you want to help your followers, but you need to take care of yourself, and we will understand if you need time to do that. The loss of sweet Libby was a great tragedy! Please know “I see you”

Brooke...I know it's not the same to hear this from someone who's not family but I am very proud of you...all you've accomplished in the short time since beautiful Libby's passing amazes me...our hearts have suffered the loss of a child and that alone is more than any of us should ever have to bear...you have helped with your advice and willingness to let all of us see what grief really looks like and how to try and handle our lives that will never be the same...I am so thankful you have David and others you can lean on..take care💙

Thank you for being open and real with grief. I lost my wife and I totally understand that it takes a lot of effort to stand up to the giant wave after wave. We can be happy for things and sad depressed all in same moments.

My heart goes out to you I know first hand how hard grief is. Thank you for being so open and honest about things. We need to take care of ourselves and I’m glad you’re doing that. I’m so glad you’re feeling better. Don’t be so hard on yourself. If we’re not doing what makes us happy why are we doing it? I will be buying your book, looking forward to reading it!

It's an ache in our heart..... it is always there.... some days it flares up more than other days... He never got to marry.... having children was such a desire of his heart..He didn't get to live a long beautiful life.... That is what hurts my heart .. He left to soon.. but I always think and know my son would want me to live and help others...he was just that way... So, that is what I will do. I will....❤

Every single person grieves totally different and that's totally ok. It's also normal for some to be more introverted while others are extroverted. However, I hope that you know that speaking for myself, although I'm sure others will agree, it is the greatest and honor of my life to love and support you always. I would love to be able to sit with you in your pain, even if I'm in another state.

I am so sorry that you are going through this. It is the hardest thing to go through alone. I am married and have two sons . They so live at home with us. One came home to help with our son who was sick. I have been grieving very quiet, hard and alone. Making this a short story. I ended up with Bells Pasly . Then we found out that the doctor gave me a prescription which he gave me. It was Prednisone 20MG each. He wanted me to take three at nine in the morning and three at three o'clock in the after noon. Thats six pills within six hours. Thats 120 MG. My husband kept him that I had diabetes. When I took the first three my diabetes shot up over six hundred. My husband told me not to take any more. We had heard that the second year of grief is the hardest. Now I know what they mean. Thank you for what you are doing. I am sorry for your loss. Please take care. I love what you are doing, sharing your grief. My heart goes to you. Love ya.

@@brookecarlock You have really helped me through it. When people told me I have to get over it. Or at a grief share meeting I got laughed at when I had shared hurting moment. I remember you said don't listen to people who are rude. Thank you for being there. Your a very special person and friend to me. Thank you.
