"Nexus" Now where have I heard this word before? Oh yes that's the one where James T kirk and Jean Luc Picard got together to save the galaxy or some part of it. AGAIN! I followed the story until I heard this word and there you lost me. It seems that many writers eventually fall back onto favourites that tend to discredit their abilities. Also the bad guys always seem to have green scales, sharp fangs and are never cute pink fluffy things which are all endemic to good old mother Earth. Cleaver use of imagination could negate the earthly bound scales, fangs and pink fluffy things, AKA tribbles and describe something not of any of these.
