Another great video! There's something so peaceful about pulling bits of metal from the water and getting soaked, cold & filthy! 😂 I found an axe today that I'm just trying to clean up a bit, luckily it still had a plastic wrapper on the axe head so it's in quite good shape! 👍 ~Tom
I find when your on a run of finding things you lose track of time ,you are right though it is very peaceful. Well done with the axe find happy hunting.
FourSeasons Metaldetecting thank you! I've been out again today (just in the process of editing the video) but only for 30mins or so as I'm suffering with a bad ear infection :( video shall be up tonight.. :) ~Tom
I love this don't let anyone put you down I love this channel and it makes me wonder what you will pull out next it is great and exciting .Keep on posting videos.😃😀
this was for sure a signal craw, and that is illigal but one crawfish? aint gunna matter to much, i take all mine home and eat them i never have put one back, if i dont intend on eatting them thay go to the cat or as fish bait or for my friends piranah =], awsome vid love it and i wouldent be to worried about putting one crawfish back lol.
The river lea in the lea valley park I walk it every weekend bird watch and pass the Olympic white water centre and there are tons of crayfish in the lakes and rivers around this area
I can't tell 100%, but the lack of red on the underside of the claws indicates this is a British White Clawed Crayfish which are an endangered species. It's worth nothing that if you catch the invasive Signal Crayfish, with a red underside to the claw, it's illegal to return them to the water, and they must be.. dispatched humanely
Is it illegal to own the smaller, but stronger neodymium magnets in the U.K.? I was wondering because it seems most videos I watch from the U.K. everyone is using those monstrous magnets like yours, and they are apparently not very powerful. My 249 lb. pull neodymium magnet only cost me $22.00 U.S. shipped. And it is only about 2 1/2 inches in diameter.
Magnet Fishing is so much fun and i enjoyed watching Your video.. Thanks for sharing and Greetings from WW2HH
that was a white clawed crayfish, very very rare, and massive too.
well done!

SJ you are right, ut is awhile claw, he should have reported that to the environment agency, they are a protected species.
sweet
is gold crayfish magnet
If you are going to eat invasive crayfish ( not the type in video) give them a decent purge first, prevents possible belly ache 🤢
I will give them a miss from that river thank you , I wouldn't eat them to dirty.

Larry Ciarrocchi I'm in UK and I use a 2.5 inch neodymium magnet and I wondered the same thing maybe it's just the myth bigger is better lol
где же взять такой магнит?
What are those boats at the sides. Do people live in the boats.
Hi Christie there are barges and canal boats, and yes some people do live on them.
