Jazakallah khair for uploading this lecture, may the ummah be saved from speaking out of ignorance against scholars and the callers to tauheed. May Allah unite us all upon the Qur'an and the authentic sunnah of our prophet Muhammad sallallahualaihiwasalam.

Starting at 14:00 the Shaykh makes an excellent point. European powers (non-Muslims) would never allow (not to mention promote) a Preacher of Tawhid. He gives an excellent example of the mainstream acceptance of Hamza Yusuf' in America, May Allah be pleased with Shaykh Abualrub

I think the reason people end up saying he was a British agent is due to the events (unrelated to him personally) in Arabia around the time of World War I,like the story of Lawrence Arabia, the House of Saud, and the Wahhabi of that time period in their fight against the Turks in cooperation with the British. So they end up maybe thinking that he was alive at that time or attributing him personally to the later cooperation with the British agent Lawrence of Arabia&his dealings with the Saud family.

@Moresco11 brother the confusion comes when the Muslims spread lies without first looking into things. It's very sad that we Muslims are this. We really do need to clarify any giving situation that's got 2 sides of the story. This is from the command of Allah in the Qu'ran that we clarify matters before we make a judgement but we Muslims disobey Allah so that's why we are in this very situation of confusion

At 0:04:00 the Sheikh says he died in the 17th century. Correct me if I'm wrong but he died in the 18th century?

thanks for uploading brother. this clear all bad things attributed against the great sheik abdulwahab. I felt confused recently when I watch video series made by sunni brothers slandering the sheik and raising proof the ahadeeth which the speaker reputed. some sunni muslims indeed committed great injustice against the sheik. subhanallah...

@UmmeNoorulAin Sallam sister, his name doesn't mean rubb as in lord, it means margarine, the difference is that the R has a Dhamma (makes oo sound), so Abualrub means father of margarine which is a famous Palestinian family (if you ask any Palestinian they will know about the family).
