I was delighted to find this video...one of the strongest memories of my childhood was the Hillsborough disaster and the absolute fury in my dad that these people died going to a game of football. As a Celtic fan we went to the memorial match and sat amongst the mixed crowd. I was 13 and learned a few lessons in life that day. I hope we see real justice now, can't bring the 96 back but we can never allow the police and government to carry out such a sickening betrayal of its own people again!
as a gers fan this is a real proper heart warmer.im glad that celtic did this match because it showed the real compassion of the scottish nature.i enjoyed watching this video very much.im not a bigot im only human.something wasnt right at hillsbourgh and i feel the bereaved deserve justice.
i was there,will love celtic forever because the club,the fans, the city, offered us love,stil find it hard to talk about those days........................YNWA
Even after 24 years this is the GREATEST YNWA ever. Its PASSIONATE. Its from the heart, and its from the only team and fans that could have opened their arms to Liverpool the way they did, at the time they did. JFT96, eternal.
There were no losers in this game. Celtic fans showed that. I am to young to even remember that tragic day but that YNWA made me cry. May those 96 souls rest in peace!
I was at this game and as much as I wanted to win the result wasn't the biggest thing.respect to the celtic fans for making it a wonderful occasion at such a sad time.
I swear Pat (Packie) Bonner was told to try his best to let Liverpool score, as his parries in this match were terrble, either that or the Celtic defenders were not trying to reach the rebound with much conviction. Anyways, I remember watching this as an 8 year old and the settting and teams couldn't have been more fitting. God bless. Greig Stott (Rangers fan).
I was there as a 9 year old, its a day that ill always remember too young at time to realise full extent of what it meant, but ill never forget the ynwa or atmosphere that day. In all my years following Celtic since few days have come close. Justice for the 96. Ynwa Liverpool
@killieguyno1 WTF is wrong with you, who gives a shit about the result. What Celtic did for Liverpool that day was one of the biggest act of kindness in football history. To see all the Celtic supporters cheering the Liverpool players to help them 'move on' that is something special. Celtic will always have a space in my heart after that day, from a Liverpool Supporter.

Back then Celtic didnt feel numbers were worthy enough to go over the top of the green and shite hoops so they had numbers on their shorts
@CameronRangersFan
We want justice for the things The s*n wrote in their newspaper the day after Hillsborough
YNWA
JFT96
I think the result was irrelevant that day.
why Celtic had numbers on their ass?
