@@Animalcanam I believe so. The prologue seems to have almost done away with the trail congestion from the previous years. We barely got held up at all. :)
@@RhinoOffroad1 yes forsure. Last year we were stuck many many times and for lengthy periods of times. They also seemed to have a lot less competitors this year from last.
@@Animalcanam That is what everyone was saying and most agreed that the trails being blocked so much stopped most from coming back, and I get that. It seems they have fixed it so far, so hopefully next year the numbers will pick back up!
@@Animalcanam oh ya? For sure I could have gotten around it but I knew something was up when there were no fresh tracks. There should have been a dozen machines through there before me. Malfunction with the maps for a few people. Next year will be better. More experience with the GPS all around :)
@@RhinoOffroad1 We will be back next year. Unfortunately this year we couldn't attend and also wanted to make sure that some improvements were had as they seem to have.
@@Animalcanam I'm going to see if I can squeeze it in, I think it will be crazy crowded. I believe my next run will be Drummond Island Michigan and then Dirt Dudes event later in August. 24th I believe?
We’re heading to the miden event. I wouldn’t expect a ton of riders just due to the difficulty of greens mountain. I think that will cut back the faint hearted. lol.
@@Animalcanam Haha. You have a point there, it's not for the average Joe! It's about a 6 hour drive for me so if I can make it worthwhile and stay a couple of days, yep, I will be down.
@@seanmcguire2063 I believe something went wrong with the map update yep. I was doing awesome until that. Oh well, next year will be better. I look at this as experience. :)
Nope, I don't think I used low at all. The KRX is geared low from factory so it revs to the moon. Cab noise (lots) is also normal in most of these new machines. Thats why Cardo headsets are doing so well, lol.
@@RhinoOffroad1 Well color me shocked lol. I’m getting back into the game, and there’s too many damn choices! Never looked at anything besides the Rzr, but the KRX’s seem to be pretty awesome. But I’m almost 50, and my body has been ruined by the military, so I don’t do all the wild stuff anymore. We can ride any road within 3 counties, minus 55+ mph roads. We’re into just cruising around, around here; mostly gravel roads & easments between roads & fields. I really want a Pro XP or a Pro R, fully enclosed. I’m the kind of guy that buys something nice with cash, and keeps it forever so I’m ok spending more for comfort.
@@brentdale5730 Well welcome back! We are largely in the same boat. My body has taken a beating as well, I'm in my 50s and I will still do the semi wild stuff but I don't go looking for it. There are definitely a lot of choices out there, all you can do is shop around and try as many as you can. The KRX suits my needs perfectly. They are not fast on top end. Some say they are under powered which is nonsense, it has never died out climbing or needing power in thick mud, they are appropriately powered is what they are. Not wild amounts of uncontrolled wheel spin. The ride quality is superb, tons of cab room and extremely over built. Tough as a bulldozer, so that's what I needed. Test them all and good luck! Welcome back into the game!
@@RhinoOffroad1 Underpowered? I see a dude that rides with AJP and he does just as good or better than some of the guys on turbos or pro xp’s. I mean, talent IS a factor lol. And that’s where I make a line kinda. I have talent and can enjoy deep mud or climbing rock hills, but I’d rather cruise a country road with my friends & a few road sodas lol.
@@brentdale5730 I hear you there. "Corny" at AJP regularly schools everybody but you know the Internet. People are all concerned about top speed and peak horsepower, and ironically they never use either one. I don't recall a ride that I was to the floor all the time, lol. But that is where the mentality comes from. If there isn't useless wild wheelspin and of control characteristics it is considered "slow". Lol.
Have you done the Dacre or are you planning on doing it? What was your experience if you have?
Been there once or twice . 😊

Yup was there as well, my day got cut short with a broken axle. Next year ..... Next year we will see, next year is a long way off.

The tree that was down I made a trail around it the day before the race. We were out riding and come to it going the other. It was right to your left.
