hi flo! i've been really enjoying the videos so far and would love to get a video on widgets for macos. i haven't really seen any video tutorials or guides out there for developing for using widgetkit for desktop and i think that would be massively helpful :) thank you!
Thanks! Widgets for macOS work exactly the same as they do on iOS. I haven't made any videos on them, because developing them requires the macOS Sonoma beta, which I don't have installed on my Macbook. I'll look into that once Sonoma officially releases. In the mean time you can just watch my Widget Masterclass to get up to speed.
Its counterintuitive how that mask works. You would think it would the other way around. As in you add the gradient as a mask to the content, not the content as a mask to a background.
