The old abandoned buildings have a certain charm. I noticed one of the streets was still paved with brick. Lots of open land there maybe with the new bridge there will be some new investment in poor old Delray.
Spent lots of time down there when I was a kid and had relatives who lived on White Street and also on Carbonworks. Can't believe what it looks like now. There is nothing that I recognize in your video. Just amazing ! Thanks for posting. Also, enjoy your videos of the new bridge. My dad had a store on Fort Street a block or so east of Green. Good to see the Produce terminal is still there.
Another intriguing neighborhood is the Carbon Works section of Del Ray. It's nestled between Fort and Jefferson: both east and west of Dearborn St. If you do tour this area, don't forget to check out the abandoned "cathedral" on Anson ST.
The street "paved" with bricks is named Anderson St. At the north end was a store owned by a Hungarian family. It's still standing but appears to be vacant.

I love brick streets. Look how long they last and no potholes.
Brick roads hold up better because they are not impermeable like asphalt. Therefore freeze thaw cycles are not as damaging to brick pavements.
omgg that shot at the beggining with the sunrise is soooo pretty
It’s the only pretty thing there unfortunately.

It's sad to see it in the shape that it's in now. Thank you for sharing your story.
FANCIFUL!

@@lindaspinner72 Thanks for that info. I love those old brick streets.
You should narrate
And here we have a residential street with no houses.
