Hi KF, I hooked a large tipper behind the single row cane harvester and used a combined courseplay route to harvest and a route to haul the cane to grain elevator 3. It fills the tipper, folds the harvester and hauls it to the elevator, dumps it and returns to the field and continues. Works fine,.
Dale Cranfill I done a similar setup. But instead of having the single row harvester haul it to the elevator, I had a conveyor belt setup going into a tipper trailer at the side of the field,(I tried it with both auger and conveyor belt). While the harvester is harvesting, the tipper trailer is hauling to the elevator.
Did my first sugar cane harvest this morning. Used the single row harvester and just drove the thing myself. Took a couple of hours to harvest field 14. Don't know if I will be planting much more of it. LoL
I know that automating the sugar cane harvest would be ideal but I have a feeling Giants set it up so that courseplay/AI vehicle etc will be confused as to what they should be doing...it is a very hands on process...even if people dont want it to be...it si a good multiplayer crop...
It sucks that you can't seem to get courseplay/Ai extension working properly. I'm sure you'll be able to figure something out. One of my least favourite things about FS17 is the change to how the pricing works. I just wish it didn't update quite as fast as it does. It sucks having a fully loaded train, and only getting a fraction of the value on your last car compared to your first car. Luckily there is a work-around. If you save and close the map after each car, you get the full value.

They are 5-in-1's because they do the three things you mentioned but they also function as a fertilizer storage bin and a rear weight. Noob. :)
