Really good demonstration - thanks. I've sometimes wondered if it's possible to inflate with big ears pulled-in during windy launches (just to have another tool in the toolbox), so maybe I'll try this out!
Yup, there's no reason not to use this for solo as long as your ears come out easily on the glider you're flying. Maybe cobra is better for solo though, but it's fun to practice this and then decide for yourself. It's also pretty low-risk to practice while kiting and get used to it and how much loop you want for your particular ears.
@@DaveOddy That's a good point actually - my wing is often pretty stubborn with releasing big ears. I usually need to do big brake pumps and sometimes tug on the stabilo line to have the ears reinflate, so this may not be a good technique in my situation. I'll still do some tests during my kiting practice sessions
