    That first Spitfire was stunning. Hadn't really noticed CCM before, thanks for the video.

    All I can say is “WOW”
    I’ve never seen CCM motorcycles before and these examples are breathtaking.
    As you commented Andre, the engineering and design make these bikes works of art with function and form.
    Just gorgeous. I’m very envious that in the UK you have small bespoke manufacturers that can produce first class machines. Their attention to detail, the paint quality, everything about these bikes are head and shoulders above what we have here in Australia.
    I throughly agree with you Andre, if I lived over there and had the cash, I’d definitely own one 👍🏍.

      They are pretty cool, and all (Langen, CCM, Dot) are all in the NW of England within 50 miles of me.

    So pleased to see you were wearing a mask for this video even though they were not required at the NEC at the time of filming. I wore one whilst watching the video to ensure I stayed safe.

      Yup, strange really, Covid wasn’t contagious on the Monday, but was by the Friday. Something must have magically changed to it during the week. On the plus side, most people think I’m better looking with a mask on. And a hood up. Ideally with two eye patches.

      @@PeakMotorcycles Yes, strange indeed. I did enjoy your video and in fact I ordered a Spitfire Maverick at the show. Delivery is expected May-time, which I'm really looking forward to.

      They’ve been around for a while but have more orders they can fill. They have had some new investment so perhaps scaling up production. Then there may be some for export?!

    Hi Andre. When I look at the CCM Street it reminds me of the Herald Brute. They are very similar on the spec sheet and I expect that the build quality on the CCM maybe a notch in front of the Herald. But 4K in front of the Herald ? I'm not so sure

    • @PeakMotorcycles
      @PeakMotorcycles  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are both great bikes. At a very high level, the Brute is 449cc/43hp/40Nm/145kg, the CCM is 600cc/55hp/58Nm/139kg. Both weights are dry, so performance wise in standard form, it’s 25% more power and 50% more torque for less weight. CCM also do a stage 1 factory map that pushes it further perhaps 40% more power and 60% torque, so performance wise I think the CCM is a fair way ahead. Though not at the same level, it’s broadly similar to a 600 vs a 1000cc bike, just a step up. Without the stage 1, the CCM is £10k and the Brute is £7k, so the prices broadly reflect the performance increase, if anything the CCM is better value 😉. I think both are well engineered, but the CCM is a level up. Not quite at the bespoke level, but there is a lot more choice of bits, and the Herald is still very new and you’re limited to the three colour choices. I’d have to ride them both to know for sure, but I don’t think they are similar on the spec sheet.

    I’ve never heard of CCM, but I love these bikes!
    The first one, the third one, and the last couple with the twin exhaust were my favorites.
    I’m going to see if there’s a CCM dealership here in Texas.
    Thanks, Andre.

    • @PeakMotorcycles
      @PeakMotorcycles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Allen,
      I don’t think they have had them tested for sale in America, so I suspect there isn’t a dealer. Yet. They don’t have dealers in the UK either, the only option is to buy from them direct. That said, they have had some recent investment, so maybe expansion over the pond will be coming in the future.
      I might have ordered one 😁…
      So there will be a couple of videos at least in the spring from the factory and their Hangar 71 as my bike is built and I get to ride it! Mine will be a Stealth Six. I can’t wait!

    • @PeakMotorcycles
      @PeakMotorcycles  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@johnbrereton5229 England went metric before I went to school in the 80’s for most weights and measures. The only things you get in pints is beer and milk, but our pints are 20oz, not 16. Crazy?! 🤣. We do miles though, but they are based on the imperial feet, not US Survey feet. Liquor is metric, 25ml or 35ml measures. Motorcycles are weighed in kg and measurements in mm I’m afraid. I should add that I’m nearly 50, so it’s not that new 😉

      @@PeakMotorcycles
      I'm English, not American and went to school in the 1960s so was taught imperial not metric. To be honest, I can't be bothered to learn a new system when the old one works fine. It's just annoying when people talk in metric and I can't understand their point. However, its not just pints of beer we still use imperial, or miles. What about height and weight? Most people still say 6ft tall and 13stone, not the metric equivalent. Metric is ok below an inch, but after that imperial wins hands down. They say
      England is going metric inch by inch, and I expect we will end up using a bastadised version combining elements of both, a good old British compromise.

    • @PeakMotorcycles
      @PeakMotorcycles  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Forgive me, you asked if Metric was French. That confused me 😉. As soon as British bike manufacturers start quoting weights and measures in imperial again, I shall share them accordingly. Until then I’m afraid I’m stuck with what they have and the same as you, why learn another system 😉. Good luck sir. Good luck.
