Because England has more purchasing power, they are releasing their higher cc models over there to gain more profit. In India 650cc sales are very limited.
@@kushsharma9346 the rising Indian middle class which is boosting the indian economy wants to purchase its first Family car which their parents didn't achieved during their lifetime. So indian middleclass which has got money to spend on buying Higher CC bikes is focussing on getting a New Family car as an achievement and surprise for their parents .
They want to compete with Harley etc in the global market. They might regret ignoring/alienating their home market in the long run (ghar ki murgi daal baraabar).
Motor cycle companies like any other have to keep abreast of the times , but have to say I was not overly impressed with any of this years Enfield offerings. There were the odd bits I liked but not all on one machine. Further more I hate the idea of having to use a mobile phone as some sort of surrogate instrument, jesus it's not like they are cheap throw away items but then I do hate stupid gizmo ideas. What is wrong with analogue ???? If I am out riding I dont want to be bothered with bloody telephones at best they should be in bubble wrap in the tool box for brake downs. The best things on the stand were the pre 1945 items, interesting that they were placed on the outer corner to drag in as many viewers as possible what does that say about the confidence of Enfield UK in this newish line up.?????????????????
@@davidprocter3578 Not everyone thinks like you do. Many young people like the technological part. RE has to consider the new generation and has to change by time. It cannot rely on the older generation for too long.
@@siddxk The old tec served several generations reasonably well , This new tec will only last as long as it is fashionable or reliable. It most certainly relies on an ever decreasing substance for it's power, quite ironic considering it is the 25th most common element on the planet. But the kiddie winks as you so rightly point out are hooked on it, I do wonder just how much the death rate will go up as a consequence? Analogue clocks are repairable not really the case with digital , sensors are also still an issue inspite of efforts to improve them. Electronics on bikes have always been a bit of a failing exposed as they are. Look at how many years it took to get them to be reliable . Now for weekend pleasure riders this is not such a problem but for professional riders and bike commuters gizmonics are likely to become an issue very rapidly. Finally there is no option offered Enfield have gone for a like it or lump it attitude along with some other manufacturers.
