The general loadout concept of the Mega Man is actually kinda practical. You should it with regular elite Nerf blasters for the Casual/Recreational Nerfer. He's a really cool guy to be friends with, and makes friends easily, he's not a sore loser, he does everything he can to help his team within the rules when they're playing, he's the kind of guy you'd have a beer or two with after a hard day of work.

Okay, let's be honest, having Mega darts peirce shields rather than destroying them or just doing nothing, is a superior rule. Not only does it give Mega darts a purpose, but it also adds a little ammo variety. That is why I carry a rotofury on my standard loadout, as a backup. However, using only mega as a weapon is stupid. Darts are to big, weapons are to big, and they don't even fly that much further.
TL;DR
Always carry a mega blaster, but never more than that.
Also, I realise this video is a joke.

i personally like to use a magnus as my secondary if mega is allowed in an elite war because i like having different ammo between my primary and sidearm for the sake of essentially having a second blaster to switch to in the event my primary is completely out of ammo.

Here's the thing did you guys see the little mistake in his outfit? Because he wears a Elite Vest with a Dart carrier in the chest but it only fits with Nerf Elite Darts which he hates not Mega Darts which is his favorite.
And a little note here Mega Man, Rival Balls are much more powerful than Darts. (Note: If you are not agreed on my suggestion on the Mega Man not Frank cause his innocent here don't ban me cause it's my own thinking not yours.)

Mega darts are just a type of silliness that registers for some more than others. Honestly, they whistle, and that delights me every time. I may be losing and crawling around for ammo every minute, but I'm losing with whistling ammo. I think that's what nerf is really about: losing with whistling ammo.
