I was filling the DS 160 for stamping however the Receipt Number IOE-XXXXXXXXXX is not recognized and throws following error.
The USCIS assigns a unique 13 digit alphanumeric number. There are 4 USCIS service centers to handle H1B applications. The first 3 character of your receipt signifies the particular service center, where the application is being processed. They can be any one of WAC, EAC, SRC, and LIN.

Ms, there are two application numbers. one is at the beginning that you told us to snapshot or white, other is at the top of sign and submit page. they are different, so which shall i use? Thanks

I have used a facebook account who's password I have lost and had to make a new FB account, will I need to mention the older one I am currently not using ? I have filled my DS160 form and made the payment but not yet booked the slot ,my concern is i have found the mistake in DS160 form ,so basically i have put the point of contact information mentioned in my i20 ,unfortunately, I mistakenly overlooked that my college has recommended using a different contact point for visa application. So do i have to mske the payment to rectify this mistake and if not how should i fill the new DS160 form?

Nobody seems to be answering the section where it stated: Person/entity paying for your trip as regards to multiple sponsors. That section indicates only one sponsor, what if you have two sponsors?

As I we live in Bangladesh there’s a common practice to have pet name which not included in passport.
Sometimes we use that name to create email address back in teenage days.

Hi, hope you are doing ok. I’m going to submit my DS-160 application form in a day or two, I need some help with regards to my “ primary occupation in DS-160. I’m a finance manager working in an Media and marketing agency but unfortunately there is no such occupation is listed in the given options, If I choose others shall I write my occupation as
“ ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE” because I fall i this category as I have earned ACCA degree from London which is an Accountant body
or I shall write
“FINANCE MANAGER” which is my current designation.

will it be his current address in US or his address on his passport?

Hi thank you for this process, I came across news that B2 visas aren't been issued and even this is confirmed from AKBAR travels. Can you please let me that if I fill out the DS-160 form for B2 today and also make the payment of $160, I won't have to reapply for the application as the application is valid for 30 days only.
