My experience in the US was that I found it so over the top and overwhelming, being treated the way americans do it when you enter a supermarket or any other shop. How they do it in France or middle Europe in gerneral, is a way of giving people their privecy. They don't wanna be rude by interupting you while thinking and reading on the products. And also it is easier to find out who is really nice and a good friend to you and who would just act. Because almost nobody acts. That is how I see it.🤔 Thank you for you video and your perspective😌

I’ve lived abroad in Asia for two years now (first China, now cambodia) and the American holidays are probably what I miss most 😂 especially Halloween and Christmas. Such magical months in America and they don’t do it even close here in Asia.

I’ve always chalked up the less friendly interactions to them thinking I’m an American tourist. Maybe it is universal though lol

please we are so many french caribbean people in France and Paris (Guadeloupe, Martinique) and over african descent people. So its will be quite similar food many places. Ask where to find "plats antillais" and you'll have a feel of home

Finding food from your home country whenever you're abroad is amazing! It's always important to look for small things that bring home to you even when you're miles and miles away from it :)

Hi, you can easily find plantins in african, asian, indian stores. I'm pretty sure you can find most of the other ingredients you need. It's just not in regular supermarkets.
But don't ask french people were to find Puerto Rican food, they don't know about that. Ask latin american people.

I miss beaches haha in my home country (New Zealand) I lived half an hour drive from a beach and a 2-3 hour drive from a whole coast of amazing beaches but now that I am in London there aren't really any beaches and definitely none like the ones at home
