I was part of the origin It was during the 70s, and the Southwest Conference days. The Batt had called Tech “Taco Tech” the week before the game at Kyle. So we thought it would be funny to throw taco shells. Well they aren’t aerodynamic. So by game time, there wasn’t a tortilla to be found in B/CS. Somehow Tech picked up it up as fun but we meant it as an insult. Just good bull.

LSU always brings out that game hinges on QB performance. OK you say LSU QB has more experience. You say nationally televised night game at Kyle Field and LSU is still coming out on top. Let me remind you that #7 nationally ranked LSU (also SEC West champ) went into Kyle Field at night and was completly "Mizzou'd" by a certain A&M quarterback in that game. Has LSU QB ever faced the 12th MAN during a night game? If not, which QB has that experience? WEIGMAN!!!!!!!👍
Class of 94. Always felt LSU was our 2nd biggest rival other than Texas. And I take LSU games more seriously than the Big 12 team of TX. LSU is the team I would rather beat to be honest. Their fans are worse than the frat boy fans of TX.
