Congratulations on your car! To answer your college question, no it’s not bad at all not to want to go to college. College is extremely expensive and time consuming, and if the career path you wanna take doesn’t require it, there’s no point really. However, I’ll say that college is a good backup plan in case whatever you wanna do doesn’t work out, you will always have a college degree to refer back to. So ultimately it really depends on what’s best for you!

I still don’t understand how are the kids from America able to drive at 16 💀 we have the same age and I could never imagine myself driving now
Same I feel you like I wish we were able to where I live , very strict or kinda anyways in certain things
I’m 15 and turn 16 next month. I think driving is a very personal and individual thing. Definitely not every 16 year old should be able to drive and get their temps/license. Ofc there is driving school, instruction driving, maneuver ability, 50 driving hours ( 10 dark ) and then the initial license test.
I am fully capable of being behind the wheel, knowing the risks/benefits, the rules/laws. It’s such a individual thing because NOT everyone is MATURE enough at this age to drive.
So I completely understand what you’re saying, I think it’s also a social norm in the USA so it’s not a shock to us. ❤
I'm 14 and I'm already starting to drive under my parents supervision 😅

On the college thing I'm 18 years old turning 19 on the 27th, I'm not in college honestly I don't feel I really need it. I want to be an author and going to college to learn how to write just seems like a waste of money. Moral of the story if you want to go know what you want to do with your life otherwise your putting money down the drain. And if you want to go to college great there lots of opportunities with that and if you don't thats completely okay never let anyone tell you what YOU SHOULD DO. And there's always gap years, find yourself find your dream I know it sounds cheesy but society puts so much pressure on 18 year olds (and I know). They expect them to act like adults but wont treat you like one til your about 25, were all still children and thats okay👌 best not to rush it.

I totally get when you were talking about moving out and stuff..I’m about to turn 16, I live in Europe, and my plan is to move out at 18, and hopefully start directly with work, and not go to collage. And I honestly think it’s totally fine to not want to go to Collage, like I’m skipping that whole stage of life lol

@@annierosee thats great you found it ! , its super hard to find used toyotas also and the price is really high on all of them , and traveling to get it is common now , i drove 7 hours to buy my coffee machine lol i had to have it

I was a little bit older on my 1st car. It was mid October 1999 that I gotten a 1998 Ford Contour SE in light denim blue. I was 29 years old in getting it. I took my test for my driver’s license a month after having the car that I failed by 2 points. A month later that I passed the 2nd one in mid December 1999. I have different vehicles over the years. My current vehicle is a 2020 Ford Escape SE in black. I got it in mid March 2022. The vehicle before it was a 2015 Ford Escape SE and it broke down and then died on me. I gotten the older Escape in late March of 2017. Enjoy your Jeep!!
I’m in college right now. I am going to get a teaching degree, and I’m in my second year. I would say if you have the money, go to college and get a “backup” degree. Even maybe go for film or business, something like that which is related to what you already do. Social media/TH-cam is a good job and I’m guessing you make a lot of money off of it, but will it last forever? We will never know how long the websites will be around for. It’s just good to have a backup plan. On a side note the college experience is, in my opinion, a GREAT way of growing up and getting used to being on your own on top of the fact that at times it can be the best time of your life. You can make so many fun memories in college.

Congrats on your car and independence! Now onto college, college as we all know isn’t for everyone even as a fall back option, there are online classes you can take to get certificates through programs or some colleges offer online courses instead of traditional college,there are really so many options out there now but if your unsure and you think “well the experience”, you can have the young adult experience without college too. Because with college even if you don’t take out loans and you get grants or a scholarship you still need to be careful because that’s money your paying to take these classes as opposed to “regular school” so the pressure is really on to “get your moneys worth” so to speak and if you don’t do good with your grades it can really stress you out, but there is also the option of going to in state which is cheaper or community or doing 2 years and getting an associate degree instead of going all out 4 years and spending a whole lot of money, it just really depends on what you want and how you can maximize/work around the traditional route to achieve what you want. It’s a really big decision so above all else take your time doing research and do what YOU want because it’s YOU who has to do it. Better to spend money and be happy then spend money and not be happy.

i have a jeep renegade as well i got it last year best car ive had!!! i have the trail hawk version.. its the same colors as yours but i have like a strip on the top and i have two sunroofs that can come off and you store them in the back!!!!

Congratulations!!! To your question about college. Keep In mind college isn’t for everyone, I thought it was for me but turns out it wasn’t. I dropped out and now I’m working. You can get any job you want with a high school diploma, if you work hard enough!

my older brother, who’s now 21, went to college for a year & a half before covid hit. he didn’t go back because not only was it a waste of time, but also money. he didn’t learnt anything from it so he just stopped going. but he also has a full time job, and goes to a school & learns about electrician stuff (cause he’s majoring in that area) so it’s not like he doesn’t work at all bc he works more than the average 21 year old. & i’m a freshman in high school, and i already know i don’t want to go to collage because it just seems like a waste of my time & money. i’d much rather get a good job to be able to support myself, and learn stuff that’s actually useful in the real world. i also hate school so that also factors in lol
