What Elaine and Em said, I totally concur! There is NOOO other Piggy Parent that is more devoted, responsible, & conscientious than our Skinnypigs1, Abby. Our Cassie gets weaky / impatient like Bullseye, SO cute! When I told my daughter about your lil jumper, Angus, she couldn't wait to see the video of him leap up on that cage, like a lil spider monkey! I have definitely been checking for any places our smallest might try it! Oh, I saw sweet Calvin's name tag on the table, eyes tearing up. Still thinking about you guys, missing your special boy. Still sending you big cyber hugs for your achy heart! He will never be forgotten! Oh, helps to know all the piggy's can show calcium at times in their pee, even when on low Calc diet! Emma I was responding to her regarding her talking about it in the video here. I don't have facebook to where I can follow her there and in this video she is talking about why she hasn't made a video yet about calvin's passing in detail. I was just responding to her talking about it all in the video here. I just follow her youtube and was letting her know we understand that she is not ready yet to talk about it. And that's ok

skinnypigs1 ASMR is popular on TH-cam. They're videos that help you relax and fall asleep through aural triggers. So scratching, tapping, low talking or whispering, etc. these noises can trigger a sensory response that helps you fall asleep or relieve stress. I feel asleep listening to your camera noises. Lol. ASMR doesn't work for everyone and not every noise triggers the same person in the same way. Search some videos and see if you like it. :)

Oh my gosh, I have ever in my whole sixty-two years of life ever seen anybody who spent so much time feeding and taking care of their fur-babies!
All I have to say about this is: when I die, if there is reincarnation, I want to come back as a guinea pig that has, "BELONGS TO MISS Skinnypigs 1!"

Sknnypigs, you're my favorite guinea pig TH-camr by far! You always sound happy, you give fantastic advice, and I hardly ever see people make videos that include skinny pigs. They're so cute! A lot of people don't like them because they're hairless and when you pet them it's just skin, but on their noses (which is where you have to pet them) they have these tiny floofs and it's sO cute. Luv ya!

My pigs are the same way! They love me petting them on my lap and they always cuddle up but when I get near they popcorn and then run only a couple inches lol

Just rescued a guinea pig today who is malnourished let's hope she gets better
I've managed multiple A&W restaurants in Canada and when I first started as crew we would have to prepare the coleslaw in the morning (it comes ready made in a container now). I couldn't tell the difference between cabbage and lettuce and prepped the cabbage that was supposed to be for the coleslaw to go on the burgers and prepped the lettuce that was supposed to be for the burgers and put it in the coleslaw :P :/

I know what you mean about the low calcium and the stones and bladder problems. I myself suffer from so many problems with my bladder and it's incredibly seriously painful. I would cry for any pig that had something serious. Keep an eye out for her. You have no idea how painful bladder issues are xxx
I love your videos so much. I have 2 Guinea pigs and I give mine filtered water too just to make sure their water is all good and doesn't have any bad minerals in it.

BULLSEYE for a guinea pig, I LOVE IT ! Had a teddy bear hamster named CHEERIO, tan all over and white underneath, looked like a CHEERIO in milk ! He died at the rip ol age of 6 years old !
I have 2 boys and 2 girls. You can't touch my boys in the cage what's so ever. My girls you can touch and pet whenever u want! Love these videos they are so relaxing and love you and your piggies!

Just found this video and heard you talking about radicchio, lol! I feel the same about the cashiers, I have had a few cashiers ask what they are...and here its 3.99 a pound, I was visiting my mother 2 hours from here and it was 6.99$ at a major grocery store...wow, I had to send a picture to my hubby of the sign!
I get the 25 pounds bag and i put it in a "cereal plastic sealed" container to keep it fresh for them. Lol
I know, right!? The cashiers NEVER know what radicchio is. They always want to call it red cabbage, as you know. And it's expensive here too.

It upsets me seeing Guinea Pigs bought and when the kids get bored they get neglected. This video is a perfect example of what it looks like to really love and take care of ur animals your such a good owner, and I think so many people need to be more educated before buying pets

For your spot cleaning you should get a little brush and use the pan it be so much easier
A brush just gets hay stuck in it and pushes the fleece around. The cat scooper works a lot better :)

Hello. I recently discovered your channel and I love it. I'm taking information and ideas for my own piggies. In this video I noticed you give them their veggies right from the fridge, I always wait a few minutes so I don't feed them with very cold veggies, avoiding a cold. I have so many questions and so much I would like to discuss with you, that I hope with time I'll be able to bring up. Congratulations! You are a very dedicated and loving mom for the furry kids.

How would cold veggies cause an actual cold?
I don't know if they can, I just feel a little better if I wait a few minutes after I take them from the fridge. I guess because I know guinea pigs are susceptible to cold weather 😕. I didn't mean to be polemic, it was just an observation.

My pigs hate tomatoes and won't eat them! All 9 of them turn up their noses. Good tip on the romaine, but I don't know if they will give up cilantro! It's their favorite thing.
I had a pig she was my number 1 she squealed and pushes up in the air trying to we & poo shes had blood on& of there was alot of pink blood and lumps underneath her & around here wee area she had batril after a few days of not wanting it she wouldn't eat drink and cryed on me for days& night I had stoped giveg it to her but she went in my arms I spent 12 hours holding her after crying nothing s the same anymore

My Lenny pulls all his hay down from a rack so I gave up. I have tried so many diff things. I even tried the grids bent but I keep breaking them when trying to bend them grrrrrrr.

Hi! At the moment my pigs don't really eat fruit, but they absolutely LOVE it! I'd love to begin incorporating it into their diet only every once in a while as a treat, how often would you recommend? Another question, is it a good idea for me to be syringe feeding just a few syringes of water maybe once a week to help keep them hydrated? I've had some issues with bladder stones with some pigs of the past, even though I've always fed low calcium and use distilled water.
I feed fruit maybe 2-3 times a month max.
You certainly can syringe extra water, never hurts.
