She's got storytelling in the lyrical presentation, she's singing over live steel guitar in the simplest chords. Doesnt get more Country than that, but the percussion is 100% work song/chaingang stomp. A style that is distinctly Southern Black, a style not typically found in contemporary Country radio. That also applies to that synthesizer you mentioned. That's all Black church organ,baby! Beyoncé's vocal presentation is also a gospel style and of course, she's going to rap, cuses she's Yoncè. So many Southern (ie Country) traditions are going to be honored on this album.
