@@suprownee these runs had to be on E50. The Hellcat has a significant HP to weight advantage when running on 91 octane. The Supra has a significant HP to weight advantage when running on E50. SUPRA on 91 is 483 BHP/at crank. Formula to calculate BHP is 420WHP x 1.15 (15%) drivetrain loss= 483 BHP Supra on E50 is 575 BHP (500 at the wheels) HP to weight Hellcat 707 BHP÷4428lbs= 0.159 HP to weight Supra on 91 = 483BHP ÷3394lbs= 0.142 HP to weight Supra on E50 = 575 BHP ÷3394lbs = 0.169 HP to weight. Toyota said the Supra weighs 3394 but everyone that actually weighed their car it was 3371lbs or less with a full tank of gas. Just went with Toyota's numbers. The lesser weight still doesn't give the Supra on 91 octane the HP to weight advantage. The HP to weight disadvantage can still be over come due to the faster shifting transmission of the Supra vs the manual transmission of the Hellcat. But the Hellcat got gapped by a school bus or 2. The race should have been much closer or even the win for the Hellcat. Conclusion...the Hellcat owner can't shift worth anything or the Supra was making more power than 420WHP or a combination of the two.
I have a 2021 GR with an E50 tune, you need an E50 tune to pull on Hellcats!!! There’s no way that’s a 91 tune with just a DP, unless you have a Pure800. Great runs though!!!
@@Randy436 not anymore, sold it since that post. Still have the Supra. Hellcat was fun from a roll, it just had way too many mechanical issues, engine went at 36k, oil pressure issues, radiator issues, just a mess.
