Nice, simple elegant. Bravo! BTW, this is a performed on stage, where your perspective is very different than on video, and you can't watch it over and over. If you were in the crowd, it is highly unlikely you would see him holding the rose until after the flame - unless you were expecting it.
He is not using a spider pen or a reel. Its a whole different hook up. This effect was created before spider pen pro was created. Check out his DVD, its worth the purchase.

If the songwriter decided to perform that song as her own, especially years later, it would be challenging for the audience to be 100% with the writer. There was nothing to palm. The ITR is hidden somewhere in his jacket. The other end on the mic stand. Thats all there is apart from a cig lighter and a rose.
carlos augusto there is a invisible rope tied to the cielieng and right as he starts believing in Jesus is the exact moment that he drops the vase and trap door down the back of his pants then to make the rose Floyd he drinks some water and puts his frets close together or else it won’t peel off like a yogurt lid
How it's done: (spoiler) There is a string attached from his shirt to hers so he is hitting the hope carefully so it doesn't break. Making it move like so.
Notice that he carries out the microphone stand, there is invisible thread (avalible on ebay amazon ect.), going from the microphone stadd to his ear (healed there by clay or wax) there is a piece tied on to that forming a T with a long top. Also notice that he moves his fingers around the rose before it floats. he puts the red rose in his hand secretly while you are distracted by the tissue rose and the lighter the tissue rose is made of flash paper so it will make a large flash to distract you
