🎙Love the FX on the vocals. Simple and make you feel funny. I wonder what chain of effects they've used. I think it's 2 differents pitch shifts, reverb and delay. But I feel there's something else I can't pinpoint. Anybody guess?
rather than pine over irretrievable days past, i dig on this actually, the live drums and kevin's live singing and YIP in the mix make this unusually great.... this live version actually seems better than the album version ;-O
LOL - Beat Happening is a steaming pile of crap compared to this, and no they didn't do this "thirty years ago". 'Indian Summer' aside, 'Beat Happening' couldn't play their way out of a paper bag. They're not underground because they're hip, they're a case of being underground because they suck. There is zero sonic or musical comparison whatsoever, just cause Johnson formed a label doesn't change the fact their band was awful.
Imagine if some of the old Of Montreal gang was playing, this adding wonderful personality to the playing instead of the Kraftwerk blandness. We miss you Dottie and Bryan.
This song has been stuck in my head the last 2 weeks. I like this version better than the studio version.

I love singing and dancing to this!
from yet another solid dance-able Of Montreal album! Go see 'em live if you get a chance
Rayna Christman Saw them in Tucson last week at the Rialto. Fantastic show!
Absolutely love this song, the album is definitely different in its own ways and this is my fav from it.

As a long time OM fan this version is lame compared to the studio version. Go listen to that, much better.
