Of Montreal are my favourite band ever, I fell in love with Kevin Barnes the day I heard Cherry Peel and I was full with love Kevin Barnes really made me feel proud with my sexuality as a Pansexual I'm seeing in London on the 25th Sep can't wait it's going to be amazing in London
First time I saw them live was at the inaugural Houston Free Press Summerfest in 2009. It was the most memorable live show I’ve ever seen and made me a lifelong fan, listening to them ever since.
rap is like FLOW... and this song is like, YO! ...feel my weather here, and SO......they both are like....lets go and SHOW .....that we pretty much the same accept we got a diff kind of GLOW =)....ya know...?
@glasses92 yes you do. i buy an extra ticket every time they come to my town(which is kansas so only twice a year) just so they can experience it as much as i have. honestly seeeing them live will change every perception. much love and i hope u see them soon. a definate show worth seeing in your lifetime!!
Imagine of the Beatles had never broken up and Lennon never gotten killed... I'd imagine this would be the shit they'd be coming up with circa 1983-86 (considering they were well ahead of their time)... you'd have the of Montreal-esque material by Lennon... and the poppy McCartney material with the occasional guitar-driven jams by George... lol The band would've ended in 2001 anyway since Harrison died a natural death.
And you guys he's not gay he's a Pansexusl that means gender blind so he's had experiences with men and woman but he's merry'd and has a daughter soooo....
Yeah the whole production and costume aspect of this is a little gay but I honestly don't give a shit. These guys sound fuckin great and the music is kick ass.
Man you make it sound like there's something wrong with gay. Like you still like them despite the performance seeming 'gay' (which is a bit ridiculous anyway, flamboyance doesn't equal homosexuality). I don't get why this comment has so many upvotes. But watevs.
the problem is immaturity or ignorance... possibly both. Their androgynous efforts are very tasteful, just as much as their music. those who say otherwise need to grow a few more brain cells.
this band is genius.
they're original,
relevant and
professional.
KEVIN BARNES I LOVE YOU
He always has really deep bands with awesome bass playing, and brings alive a colorful spirit with his songwriting. Fuck yeah Kevin Barnes.

Everything is so special and unique. All these memories are so important hahaha. You won't even see a shirt like that in West Hollywood.
it really grooves
videos just don't do justice for kev barnes's talent. love him !
that bass!
hes awesome
They weren't dead, sometimes live shows by record companies drone out the sound of the audience so you can get better sound quality.
I'd love see them live! Plz come to Peru :)
this song forever

I give a lot of credit to the bassist :D He really completes the sound.

Sweet
It's glam. Pretty sweet.

Not many people (let alone a guy) can pull off blue stockings and eye glitter ... I' a guy and kinda jealous
Bowie did best
its his unbridled confidence
that's their sound dude.
And you guys he's not gay he's a Pansexusl that means gender blind so he's had experiences with men and woman but he's merry'd and has a daughter soooo....
Can I be that keyboardist please thanks
damn. almost as good as being there. B\
lol Very true
Could they get any cooler?
That might explain why he used the word androgyny in his description.
Reminds me of david bowie, or should i say ziggy stardust
What did The Mountain Goats ever do to you
who would want to kill cereal!!!!! lol
This band would be right up Dennis Reynold's alley.
but you've already got all the pan flute bands you could ever want, you cant have everything
your missin out man! look up atmosphere, aesop rock, a tribe called quest, common, little brother....
That bass makes all more tragic
I WANT TO MARRY HIM OMG IM SO GAY FOR KEVIN BARNES WTFF
their supeeeeeer weird live, specially the ones wearing pigs masks, i wanted just a show focused on the music but ok still
Kevin is married and has a daughter
saw them in a free concert for the scad alumni. there is no way this dude is gay.....that concert was raunchy haha.
it's called androgyny
Yeah the whole production and costume aspect of this is a little gay but I honestly don't give a shit. These guys sound fuckin great and the music is kick ass.
Not sure why "gay" even had to be brought into this. This is music that's supposed to challenge our boundaries; let it do its thing.
Richard MacDougall True that
they make gay look good
Man you make it sound like there's something wrong with gay. Like you still like them despite the performance seeming 'gay' (which is a bit ridiculous anyway, flamboyance doesn't equal homosexuality). I don't get why this comment has so many upvotes. But watevs.
It's indy glam-pop
the problem is immaturity or ignorance... possibly both. Their androgynous efforts are very tasteful, just as much as their music. those who say otherwise need to grow a few more brain cells.
I'm not sure I'd be okay if they were serial killers, but there is nothing wrong with homosexuality.
placebo
They're glamrock. Not gay lol.
Bass guitar is too loud.
He doesn't even know the names of his own songs
That was the working title, before it was released
I think everyone goes through a rap phase at some point but eventually you realize that you should treat music like candy and throw the rappers away
@ChocolateNinjaStar i love lollapalooza, i need to go!
