Hi I changed the new clutch set , only the problem noticed it’s automatically loosened the clutch controls. Many times I adjust the cable and screw from gear side . After couple of kilometres there is no clutch control Pls advice me
I have also noticed it sometimes. It may be because of the first phase adaption(seating) of the new plates. Slight wear of the plates leads to heavy play to lever due to the 'leverage' provided in the mechanism. You may please tight it without any play. And we may watch. Can you update the developments....? (Or go away after finding a solution 😃)

Appreciate your advice..
വളരെ എളുപ്പം പറ്റും. ആദ്യം gear ഇട്ടു വെയ്ക്കുക... പിന്നെ clutch പിടിച്ചു തള്ളി കുറച്ചു വേഗം ആകുമ്പോൾ decompression lever apply ചെയ്തു clutch വിട്ടു engine തിരിഞ്ഞ ശേഷം de- compressor വിടുക.. ഇതാണ് നല്ല procedure
Hello fellow rider.. my 1990 model standard Bullet makes sound like a spinning motor from the clutch assembly.. it was taken to a mechanic for inspection.. he adjusted the primary chain tension and also adequately adjusted the air gap between the rotor and stator.. but still the sound doesn’t go off after starting the engine.. any idea what could that be?
@@RKR1978 thanks for the response.. in fact the primary chain was a bit loose initially when I started to hear the noise.. then tension was adjusted accordingly by tightening as well as loosening again.. however the noise remain same unfortunately..
@@pranavsurendran7700 there are 2 reasons for the humming noice, first over tightness of the chain and second touching of magneto with the core. When the chain is loose, another aound was there like wobbling of the chain.
@@pranavsurendran7700 you can check the chain tension by inserting the finger and just rotate the chain by pressing the kick lever. You should check the tension at every bit of rotation. (As the clutch bell as well as the crank sprocket may be eccentric)
Actually we can ride in slow speeds in 4 plate clutch models. Just use a thicker oil like 20-50. Or you can adjust the clutch lever play to 0. No need of 3 plate alternative for riding in such a manner.
hi. can you explain about clutch lever play to " 0 " . meaning no free play of clutch lever ? . i currently have a free play of 3 mm . i cannot ride below 40 kms in top gear without slipping the clutch. not sure whether previous owner upsized the front sprocket . i ride a 1985 CI model

ചേട്ടാ,3 to 4 th ഗിയയറിലോട്ട് മാറ്റി റൺ ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ ആദ്യത്തെ കുറച്ചു സമയം (അതായത് 3 to 4 th shift cheythu ആദ്യസമയം )ഒരു പ്ലക് പ്ലക് ഇന്ന് ഒരു ചെറിയ ശബ്ദം ഉണ്ട് എന്തായിരിക്കാം കാരണം
@@arunraj2215 oil ഒഴിക്കുന്ന nut അഴിച്ചു അതുവഴി വിരൽ ഇട്ടു chain tightness നോക്കാം. ആ സമയത്തു kick ലിവർചവിട്ടി compression ൽ വെച്ചാൽ ഉള്ള tightness ആണ് നോക്കേണ്ടത്. 1/2 inch ആണ് വേണ്ട slack. പലതവണ kick lever ചവിട്ടി കറക്കി നോക്കണം. എന്നാലേ ഏറ്റവും tight ആയ അവസ്ഥ എവിടെ ആണ് എന്ന് അറിയാൻ കഴിയൂ.(chain ഇടുന്ന sprocket പലപ്പോഴും eccentric ആയിരിക്കും). Oil 20-40 ഒക്കെ മതി. SAE 30 ആണ് കമ്പനി നിർദേശം... 420 ml വേണം.

Good . Don't over tight the Drain Plugs. Just tight and look for oil leaks the day after...That's all.

വലതു വശത്തു ഉള്ള clutch adjuster tight ചെയ്യണം... എന്നിട്ട് clutch പിടിച്ചു kick lever ചവിട്ടി clutch free ആക്കണം.

For slow speed rides in 4th gear, which type you prefer 3 plate or 4. especially in high weighted crank models

@@arunraj2215 oil ഒഴിക്കുന്ന nut അഴിച്ചു അതുവഴി വിരൽ ഇട്ടു chain tightness നോക്കാം. ആ സമയത്തു kick ലിവർചവിട്ടി compression ൽ വെച്ചാൽ ഉള്ള tightness ആണ് നോക്കേണ്ടത്. 1/2 inch ആണ് വേണ്ട slack. പലതവണ kick lever ചവിട്ടി കറക്കി നോക്കണം. എന്നാലേ ഏറ്റവും tight ആയ അവസ്ഥ എവിടെ ആണ് എന്ന് അറിയാൻ കഴിയൂ.(chain ഇടുന്ന sprocket പലപ്പോഴും eccentric ആയിരിക്കും). Oil 20-40 ഒക്കെ മതി. SAE 30 ആണ് കമ്പനി നിർദേശം... 420 ml വേണം.

ചില സമയങ്ങളിൽ ക്ലച്ച് ലിവർ ഫ്രീ ആയിരിക്കും വണ്ടി ഓടി 100മീറ്റർ കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ ക്ലച്ച് ലിവർ ഹാർഡ് ആകും പലതവണ ക്ലച്ച് അഴിച്ചു നോക്കി ഫോൾട് ഒന്നും കണ്ടില്ല ക്ലച്ച് road പൊട്ടിയോ അന്നും നോക്കി ഒരു കുഴപ്പവും ഇല്ല

അത് പ്രശ്നം ആണ്. അത്യാവശ്യമായി clutch side അഴിക്കണം. ഒന്നുകിൽ magnet ഉരയുന്നതാണ്... അല്ലെങ്ക്കിൽ clutch assembly പ്രശ്നം.
