Would you have liked to see it becoming the IndyCar Series car?
No
@@xnotasweatx Looks like you already said it.
NOOOOOO I would quit on Indycar altogether. Also if two drivers make door to door contact with each other, they would both immediately get stuck to each other and wreck.
To be honest, the deltawing race car was better off as an IMSA prototype racer.
no
It's a shame that they weren't able to fully develop the car, would have been cool to see it's full potential
For further clarification, this was a scrapped indycar chassis, not the vehicle that would have raced indycar
That's right, they weren't very different though
Didn't the chassis come from the failed aston martin amr one project ?
you should do the garage 56 camaro vs the garage 56 delta wing
Good idea
It's a shame that it never became an entirely new class of its own, DeltaWing Prototype, DWP. (not exactly creative, but, eh)
That would've been awesome. They tried to to replace the FLM09 (Prototype Challenge) with these as you only needed half the carbon fibre and a "Nissan Juke engine". The car didn't have any kind of aerodynamic appendix either so they would've been relatively cheap
Looks like this car would take some getting used to trying to figure out how to drive it. It must be weird hitting the curbs with only your rear tires. I also feel like it would understeer easily with the front being so narrow compared to the back.
It does, but you get used to it faster than it looks, you just have to spend a couple laps looking more at the mirrors than ahead 😂. It's nowhere near as understeery. The point of having the front tyres that close was to have almost the same load on both tyres unlike a wider car where the inside tyre tends to lift. That's why it didn't need any kind of wing or splitter. And it worked quite well!
Another great one.....I honestly forgot about that car........Can you do a comparison like you did with the GT500 car but at LeMans........I've always wanted to know how if they could compete with the prototypes at LeMans
I will 😏
Technically the delta wing runs better than any V8 competitors in Le Mans
MY CHILD!
I think as a Nissan it had a smaller engine but when they left the project it then had the 1.9 elan engine
That's correct
Need all garage 56 cars race
It's on the list ;)
COOL RACE AND MY CURVE MAKES ANOTHER APPEARANCE
Won't be the last, that's for sure 😂
I remembered seeing the deltawing in gran turismo 6, but i didn't test it yet
Love the facundo peralta styled thumbnail
We are moving from 2019 thimbnails to 2023 😂 Don't know he is but half the Internet make these
Nissan deltawing vs panoz deltawing pls
For next vid can you do all le mans projects race?
Yes! You'll have to wait some time though 🙃
I want to see who is faster, Deltawing or this year's Garage 56 car; NASCAR camaro
Whaddya know, the batmobile is just as fast as the lmp2 car(s), only problem(lucky guessing) is that it’s probably lacking downforce, or it’s lacking maneuverability.
Exactly what happened
Nissan Deltawing vs the Nissan GT-R LM Nismo
Definitely doing it
A cool car but scrapped
