    Rewatching, Andy, finally have everything lined up including the good weather, new rad, hoses, extra tall jack stands.

      I have had that new radiator for over a year, lol, what a lazy slacker I am.

    Very much enjoying the videos, as a new owner of a midget requiring restoration I’m finding them very useful, please keep them coming 👍
    I noticed on your video you drove through Littleton and St Arildas in Oldbury 🤔 I’m assuming you are local to Bristol, do you know if there is a local mg club that meet up regularly?

      Hey there thanks so much for your comments! Yes the best club I found is the midget and Sprite club. They meet the first Wednesday of the month at a pub.... but not sure if that's happening currently due to covid !

    Subscribed a bit ago, but just clicked the bell icon for notifications because I can't wait for your next video. You took her off the jacks, eh? LOL, I could swear you were going to say it a little differently. Entertaining and informative, that's a good combination in any crowd. I'm in Western New York State, and have a '77 Midget that's a good driver, and currently restoring two Sprites, a '58 Sprite and a '59 Sprite, so just about anything you do will be relevant and eagerly consumed and added to the old bank of future knowledge to be tapped later after getting the entertainment out of it.

    Andy... So how many screws/bolts did you finally find to remove the radiator. Where were they located. Was it four, six or ? I saw the four on the video however you kept talking about another two which you could not find. Great video as usual.

    • @AndysMGAdventures
      @AndysMGAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there, the other two where meant to be midway up (as far as I can rememebr) near the heater ducting intake and similar position on the other side.
      The moss catalogue does a good explosive diagram on their website if in doubt !

    I thought, as you had the radiator out, you might drain and flush the engine block as they can also block the water galleries with sediment and stop circulation of coolant around the cylinders. Never mind, maybe next time ?

    • @AndysMGAdventures
      @AndysMGAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah well. Being newbie , it's baby steps for me. But yes, next time I will do that.

      @@AndysMGAdventures The reason I say that is that I just yesterday got my Midget out of storage and it overheated several times on the way home. This car has been restored and engine was stored for probably over 20 years. Low on water but there could be other reasons so its flush time for me. .
